Sometimes the best things come to those who wait (and work hard!). So it was today for Tom from Tywardreath. After more than a year of hard work and determination, he absolutely smashed his test, at the first attempt and with just 1 driving fault. Double celebrations at Drive Cornwall today for two individuals who have each had to work harder than most others to pass their tests. First up was Jowan from St Blazey. Due to a mix up over test dates, Jowan had to switch to his own car for the test but coped admirably. Next up was Tim from St Austell. His good quality driving drew positive comments from the examiner and this was his first and only attempt needed to pass. Both of you deserve to enjoy your moment and a lifetime of Safe Driving. She might look a bit she'll shocked, but Dawn from Camelford has just made a massive achievement. She had made a pledge to herself to pass her driving test before she reached 50 and guess what - she smashed it, passing today, at the first attempt and with just 3 driving faults and some very complimentary remarks from the examiner. Dawn's training was a team effort, started off by Angie and completed by Trevor. Enjoy the moment Dawn and be very proud of yourself.

Big day for Stephen from Foxhole today as he passed his test with just a single driving fault. At the end of the test, the examiner turned to him and said "well, that was frankly boring ! You didn't give me anything to think about or any decisions to make !! On test boring driving rules ok! Instructor Trevor was in the car for the test and confirms that it was a smooth, confident drive from start to finish. Great performance Stephen, Drive Safely.
