New project arrival at Coliza Motorsport & Restorations 👌
This Mk2 Polo has landed with us for a full resto-mod build.
The brief from the owner was simple enough: “I’ve got all the parts.”
A few days later we arrived to collect the shell… along with a van absolutely packed full of boxes, components, spares and upgrade parts! 😅
Back at the workshop, the first job was to assess exactly what we’d got, catalogue the parts and start building a plan for the project.
The aim is to create a tidy, reliable and usable modernised classic while retaining everything that makes the Mk2 Polo such a great little car in the first place.
Over the coming weeks we’ll be documenting the build from the initial strip-down through to fabrication, restoration work, mechanical upgrades and final assembly.
