Officers from Harpenden SNT discovered this tyre with cord exposed during a routine traffic stop, the driver has been reported for the offence.

This offence carries a fine of £100 and three penalty points per tyre.

There is no excuse for this, tyres must have a minimum tread of 1.6mm and be roadworthy.

It has been confirmed today by DVSA (Goverment) that MOT testing stations are aloud to stay OPEN during the 2nd Lockdown. If your cars MOT or Service is due soon please phone 01727 832835 and arrange a booking.

At Gold Crest Motors Ltd we are taking extra care to make sure all cars are sanitised and every reasonable precaution is being taken during these trying times.

We will stay OPEN during the Lockdown, as long as there is work for us to do. If you need it worked on we can do it for you.

The theives are back targeting Catalytic converters under people's cars/vans again. Be careful where you leave your car/van. If you are a victim of these thieves give us a ring and we will be able to help repair the damage done and even fit a anti theft device that should stop it happening again.
