We have an exciting opportunity for a workshop assistant to join our expanding team at XCS!

We are looking for either a trainee (would suit school/college leaver) or someone with more experience that's energetic, proactive, strong team worker and has the ability to thrive in a small closely knit and dedicated team

Main Responsibilities:
Assisting workshop manager with tasks
Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard of quality
Adhere to a high level of personal presentation
Maintain the workshop in a clean and professional way
Ensuring that all plant and equipment is maintained correctly, and any defects are reported

Onsite parking. Part Time, Flexible Hours: Tues-Fri, 9.00 to 5.00

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, Self Employed Welder/Fabricator to join the team at XCS!

The ideal candidate will be someone who can manage a variety of fabrication jobs from start to finish to a high standard with preferred 5 years experience. They must be able to understand and work to instructions and engineering drawings.

Main Responsibilities:
MIG welding and jig work
Aluminium TIG Welding
TIG Welding
Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard of quality
Maintain the workshop in a clean and professional way

Skills Required:
Fabrication
MIG welding
TIG Welding - including aluminium
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience using steel fabrication machinery

Onsite parking. Part Time, Flexible Hours: Tues-Fri, 9.00 to 5.00

Things are in full swing here at XCS, with 6 cars currently on build🔧 Unfortuntely, this does mean we won't be attending the National Kit & Sports Car Show, Malvern. As much as we would love to be there, our busy workshop schedule means we won't make it this year.

It has been a while since we posted.
We have had our work cut out getting the new factory done.
There is light at the end of the tunnel now.
Full production starts again on the 27th of febuary with a full new team of staff.

The factory roofing is nearly completed now, we are now water tight and have full visibility with the new lighting.

The heating is now efficient and keeps the guys and a temperature thats ideal for working.

Some paint on the walls, some paint on the floors and we are going to be firing on all cylinders

All in preparation for the 2026 open day

Now this is Friday we can all get behind.

A round tube factory build delivered to the customer.

We would like to thank the customer for trusting us in creating his dream build. Hoping to see many more smiles after he has done some miles.

His colour choice, stripe package and accessory colour has worked extremely well. Still having the iconic shape we know, but giving it the modern touch we love to see.
