On the 13th September 2025, three generations of our family crossed the start line together.

But this was Simon’s challenge.

At 68 years old, the founder of Langley Park Rally School set himself the task of driving a rally car around our track for 24 hours non-stop.

Through the day.

Through the night.

And into the next morning.

He just kept driving.

Over 600 miles later, and 24 hours after we’d started, those same three generations crossed the finish line together.

And Simon had helped raise an incredible £7,291.17 for charity.

A pretty special 24 hours.

A huge achievement for Simon.

And a moment our family will never forget. ❤️🏁

Yesterday’s customers came a little further than most… Northern Ireland! 🇬🇧✈️🏁

A huge thank you to Steve at SP Taxis, Saffron Walden, who helped us get our visitors to and from Langley Park and beyond, and even became our cameraman along the way! 😂🎥

He managed to capture plenty of their day with us AND got a review from them in the taxi on the way home… which we think says it all. ❤️

We love welcoming people from all over the UK (and beyond!) and, with great local contacts like Steve, we can even help make the journey to us that little bit easier.

Thanks for making the trip over to see us, Northern Ireland to the gravel of Langley Park! 🏁

We love that our days aren’t just about getting behind the wheel. They’re about bringing family and friends together, a bit of friendly competition and making memories along the way. 🏁

And Caroline got a special mention for spectator entertainment too! 😂

Little-known rally car fact: the horn is on the co-driver’s side so they can use it if needed.

It’s not simply about getting more time behind the wheel.

A whole day gives you time to learn the stage, understand the car and then really start working on your technique — lines, braking, confidence and finding those all-important seconds.

Charlie from New Hope Racing summed his day up perfectly:
