From an 8-year-old with a driving voucher… to 12th overall on his second ever rally. 🏁❤️

Jay first discovered our junior driving lessons when he came along with his mum for her rally experience. At just 8 years old, he received his first voucher… and that was where it all started.

Since then, he’s trained with us, attended camp days, joined us at rallies, become part of the Langley Park family and always been ready to get stuck in.

This weekend, running against far more experienced juniors, some 17 years old, and in hot conditions, Jay finished a very respectable 12th overall.

The car ran faultlessly, his times got quicker throughout the day and, most importantly, he listened, learned and put the advice he was given into practice.

This is what junior progression means to us.

From first driving lessons to competing in rallying.

We couldn’t be prouder to be part of Jay’s journey.

🚨 NEW SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Well… this wasn’t quite planned. 😂🏁

A few days ago, this rally car came to use our track. By the end of the day, we’d bought it.

Oops.

But when an opportunity comes along that fits perfectly with where Langley Park is heading, sometimes you just have to go for it!

Our newest addition will give us another car suitable for junior rally training, driver development and may already be hired for a few events.

As we continue to evolve it felt like the perfect addition to the Langley Park family.

So… meet our newest signing! 🏁

Now we just need to give it a name… any suggestions? 👀👇

The summer holidays are nearly here… and our first two camps are coming up fast! ☀️🏁

📅 Wednesday 22nd July – Senior Camp
For older children and teenagers 12-16 looking to build confidence behind the wheel, develop real driving skills and enjoy plenty of time in the cars.

📅 Thursday 23rd July – Junior Camp
For our younger drivers aged 7-11, whether they’ve driven with us before or are getting behind the wheel for the very first time!

Both days are designed to be fun, confidence-building and packed with driving, activities and time with others who love cars and motorsport.

“Do you have automatic rally cars?”

Automatic? What’s an automatic? 😂

Unfortunately, we don’t offer automatic rally experiences… but don’t let that put you off!

We welcome everyone from complete beginners with no driving licence at all, right through to experienced drivers and competitors.

Our rally cars are powerful, there are very few gear changes needed out on track, and our instructors are right there with you every step of the way.

After all, these cars are built for rallying… and changing gear is all part of the fun! 🏁

So, automatic drivers… would you give it a go? 👀

Sometimes running a small family business means learning lessons the hard way.

This reminded us exactly why we ask for payment upfront (or at least a deposit) before confirming a booking.

It’s never about not trusting people. It’s about protecting our time, our team, and making sure we’re being fair to every customer who wants to book.
