BW Motorworks A huge shoutout to this gentlemen! Without his help our mobile van wouldn’t be fixed and back on the road. Thank you so much for helping us get it fixed allowing us to get back out doing what we love and helping people across the island.

Again our most sincere apologies to those we haven’t been able to help since both vans decided to play games. Your patience is appreciated and we know there are one or 2 of our regulars that we’ve upset by not being able to help.

This Macan was up in the air today getting treated properly 🛞✨
And fair play to the MAC trolley jacks… not even breaking a sweat 😅💪

People always think tyre fitting is just “take wheel off, put wheel on”… until you’re lifting performance SUVs worth more than a house deposit 😂

Whether it’s tractors in muddy fields 🚜
Forklifts in warehouses 🏭
Or Porsches on fresh rubber 😎

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨

24/7 tyre fitters discover… mud exists 🤦‍♂️😂

Be honest… would you have sent it through there? 😂👇

Usually we’re the ones rescuing everyone else… but today the farm fought back 🐄🚐💀

One minute:
“Yeah mate, we’ll get right over to you no problem 👍”

Five minutes later:
van slowly sinking into what can only be described as liquid cow poo 🫠

Good job the customer had machinery on site… because our tyre recovery truck was about to need a recovery truck 😭😂

All part of the service though 💪
No matter the weather, mud, fields, farms or “that track is absolutely fine to drive down”… we’ll still turn up 🚐🛞

At least the van now smells… authentic 🐄🤣

☀️ BANK HOLIDAY UPDATE ☀️

That’s us officially closed for the Bank Holiday weekend, and we’ll be back open and ready to go on Tuesday 🚐🛞

Firstly, we want to wish all of our customers an absolutely amazing Bank Holiday weekend - enjoy the sunshine, spend time with family and friends, and make the most of it! 😎🍻🌞

Secondly… we owe everyone a little update (and an apology).

Unfortunately, over the last week, both of our mobile vans have decided to throw in the towel at almost exactly the same time 😩🔧

They’re currently with the garage, and we’re waiting on parts to arrive so we can get them repaired and back out doing what they do best.

We know this may have caused delays or disruption for some of our customers and for that, we are genuinely sorry.

Please know we are doing everything in our power to get them back on the road as quickly as possible because delivering fast, reliable service is something we take huge pride in.

There is some good news though… 👀✨

A little while ago we placed an order for a brand new van, and we’re excited to say it’ll soon be ready for collection before heading off for its full Wight Tyres fit-out over the coming weeks 🚐💙

Investing in new vehicles is really important to us. It helps us continue delivering the level of service you’ve come to expect and the level of service we love providing.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding and continued support. Small businesses genuinely notice and appreciate it ❤️

Not a bad office for the day either 👀⚓

24/7 callouts mean early mornings, late nights and plenty of miles… but we wouldn’t have it any other way 🚐💨

Put it back together…
Try not to have “spare bits” left over 👀😂

These split rims and solid tyres can be a proper workout, but it’s all part of keeping businesses moving safely 💪

From forklifts to tractors, trucks to wheelbarrows… if it’s got tyres, chances are we’ll have it in pieces at some point 🤣

⚠️ TRADE WARNING – PLEASE STAY ALERT ⚠️

Just wanted to share something that happened to us this week in case it helps any other independent tyre business.

We received an enquiry for 4 premium Michelin tyres (around £800 value).

The customer was very keen to:
📞 Pay over the phone
🚚 Arrange their own courier collection
⏱️ Collect quickly without attending in person

Something didn’t sit right with us, so we politely explained that for this type of order we only accept payment in person on collection.

The response?

“Ok… wait a minute…”

…and the call ended.

Maybe innocent. Maybe not. But we’d rather lose a sale than lose stock.

We’re sharing this because independent businesses work too hard to get caught out.

If something feels unusual:
✔️ Verify the customer
✔️ Be cautious with high-value remote payments
✔️ Confirm collection details
✔️ Trust your instincts
✔️ Don’t be afraid to say no

We’re not naming anyone or making accusations - just encouraging everyone in the trade to stay vigilant.

This truck came in with a slow puncture and it didn’t take long to spot the culprit 👀

The good news?
Caught early ✅
Repaired safely ✅
Back on the road with minimal downtime ✅

It’s always worth getting tyres checked as soon as you notice pressure loss — driving on a low tyre can quickly turn a simple repair into a costly replacement 💸
