MK2 ES**RT RS2000 – WORKSHOP UPDATE

This lovely two-owner Mk2 Es**rt RS2000 has been in the workshop at GS Classic Fords Ltd for a number of jobs.

We’ve sorted a gearbox noise, looked into an issue with the intermittent wipers, and fitted an electric cooling fan.

The car has also been on the rolling road for a tune-up, making sure it’s running as it should.

A great example of an iconic Ford, and always a pleasure to have another RS2000 through the workshop.

We’re pleased to offer this genuine Mk2 Es**rt RS2000 for sale on behalf of our customer.

The car has recently been through our workshop at GS Classic Fords Ltd for a thorough recommission, including a full service, MOT and rolling road tune.

Other work carried out includes replacement brake pipes, new silicone coolant hoses, fitting an excellent original RS2000 engine crossmember, replacement bushes and various other smaller jobs.

A very solid example with a great specification, including twin 40 Weber carburettors, a 4-branch manifold and 2-inch twin-box exhaust system.

The car also benefits from Bilstein coilover front struts, GAZ rear shock absorbers, recently renewed brakes including vented and drilled front discs, rear shoes and wheel cylinders, along with 7-inch RS replica alloy wheels and retrimmed fishnet Recaro seats.

A very nice, solid RS2000 that we’ve recently had through our workshop and is now ready for its next owner.

MK2 ES**RT RS2000 – BACK ON THE ROAD

Great to see this genuine Mk2 Es**rt RS2000 back out on the road following its recommission here at GS Classic Fords Ltd.

We’ve worked through the car, carrying out a range of jobs including fitting the correct RS2000 engine crossmember, new silicone coolant hoses, replacement brake pipes and a full service.

The car has also been through its MOT and had rolling road setup, helping to ensure it’s running as it should and ready to be enjoyed safely and reliably.

As always, all parts used were supplied by ourselves.

Here’s a short video of the RS2000 out for a drive around our industrial estate following the work. A great result and another classic Ford getting closer to heading home!
