Time Attack UK Round 6. Brands Hatch
This was our second time at Brands this year and what a fantastic weekend it was!
The weather was great, competition was closer than ever and I had great fun pushing the car all day 🚙 💨
Apart from warm up when another boost hose came off after 1 lap 🫣.

Attack 1: 51.682
Attack 2: 51.614
Super Attack: 51:687
which was good enough for 4th

Safe to say I’d maxxed the car and my limits out 🤪. Tyres were now 4 rounds old and starting to feel it.

One round to go… Cadwell in a few weeks. Still on old tyres but we’ll be giving it everything to try and finish on the podium again.

Time Attack Round 5 -
What should have been a good round for us, turned into a nightmare with 0 points scored ☹️

The weekend started fine. We had recently changed the clutch, so to give it as much bedding in time as possible. Sarah drove the car to the circuit on a standard power map the night before.

In the morning we completed an alignment before practice. And I opted to run the car at standard power for the final few miles bedding in the clutch.

🔹Attack 1:
I turn the power back up and leave the pits.
Then the first time I open the throttle… pop!
Resorts to 3PSi boost. End of session. Boost hose had blown off in the worst possible place.

🔹Attack 2:
With a lot of swearing and bloody knuckles, the team managed to get the hose back on without taking 1/2 the car apart.
First lap… put my foot power… 9psi (car runs 24psi normally). Bu**er!

We get a camera in and see the pipe that had popped off had sliced itself on the aux belt and the second some boost went through it. Split it open.

🔹Super Attack:
Despite the fantastic help of other teams in the paddock and colossal amounts of bodging. We could not get a suitable repair on the car to make the final. Gutted! 😔. But these things happen.

Time Attack Round 3 - Brands Hatch
Where do we start!?
A fantastic day thanks to amazing weather & awesome team!
It was also a pleasure to share the garage with the so far undefeated championship leader .clubsport in his rapid Supra!
Who we managed to push very close to the podium top spot. Finishing 2nd just 0.1secs behind! 😎 and in doing so taking 2 secs off our PB LapTime from last year! 51.1 secs.
