The lovely Narrowboat Pine in for some alterations,Reinstate the escape hatch in the cabin,Replace front and rear cants,Fill in unused holes in cabin top,New hinges on rear doors,New cabin slide,Make and fit new t studs,and refit front t stud in the correct position.

Out on site today sorting out this lovely Jp2 With headgasket problems,stripped,cleaned and all gaskets replaced and setup,now running lovely

More progress on Nb Corvus,Next forward section removed,Concrete removed from bow section only to reveal toe plate completely rotten,Now the task of some reconstructive sympathetic surgery,trying to keep as much of the existing platework as i can,Last 2 knees now repaired,,removing sections of buttstraps that have wasted away with ingress of years of water,plate work behind buttstraps in good order,going to also replace the bottom sections of angle frames and bulkhead frames.

Making progress on Nb Corvus now back on her,and the lovely Nb Pine returning customer for some more work🙂

Another little project.
Nb Nutfield
Removal of mechanical blackstone gearbox,Fitted PRM gearbox and adapter (Thankyou Paul Redshaw for supplying the gearbox and housing)and fabricated the necessary mounting feet for existing engine bed holes.fitted oil cooler,Modified the push pull control to take the ultraflex cable for drive selection,moved the lister panel up out of the way as requested and completely rewired the starter and charging system with new batteries.

On with the next project,Removal of old bottom and footings,deriviting of knees to asses corrosion whilst tying to leave...
