The start of the ’70s marked a significant shift for marques around the world as road car silhouettes became lower, wider and more purposeful in line with Group 2 regs for both racing and rallying. Alfa’s GTA arrived in 1966 but by the end of the decade the ‘Modificata’ arrived and it certainly looked the part up against Ford’s Es**rt Mexico and BMW’s 2002 Tii.

Originally starting life as a GT 1300 Junior, this Evocation was cherished for the best part of 20 years by the same Norwegian owner. Subsequently selected for a 2,000+ hour restoration by marque specialists Fred Arve Monsen and Cylmo Trondheim, the car was built with both road and track in mind predominantly using Alfaholics parts.

The bodywork now comprises a fibreglass bonnet, tailgate, doors and wing extensions – all finished in a pristine coat of AR501 Red – whilst other additions include a heated laminated GT windscreen, a Perspex GTA rear screen and a sliding window kit.

The GTB is a rarer car on our roads than the later GTS model and to many, demonstrates the Pininfarina design in its purest form.

Delivered new to Australia in 1976, this Ferrari 308 GTB ‘Vetroresina’ left the factory in Argento Silver and was resprayed in the timeless colourway of Rosso over a tan interior.

A magnificent early history is annotated by all service invoicing and a summary sheet accounting for all work carried out up until 1985. After a period in storage the car was Imported and registered in the UK in 2015 with the owner deliberately seeking a solid and low mileage example from a dry climate such as Australia.

Complete with its original owner’s manual and service book, this elegant 308 has recently been subject to a major cambelt service and additional works by marque specialists, DK Engineering.

The original Dimma 205 was designed and produced by Baudouin Michele in 1985 with the styling based on the World Rally Championship winning 205 T16 Group B rally car. The body kit was approved and promoted by Peugeot themselves at that time and even the boss of the Peugeot Sport competition department, Jean Todt, had one as his company car.

This car was discovered after 17 years of storage and in 2023 was sent straight back to Dimma UK owner Terry Pankhurst for a rotisserie restoration. The work included a total strip and refit of the kit as well as attending to the inside, outside and undercarriage of the body.

With its wide arches, big rear wing and Testarossa-inspired strakes the silhouette is simply sensational. The spectacular Curacao Blue paintwork pops from every angle – there really is nothing quite like it!

Supplied new by Porsche Torino, Italy this C07 EU spec 924 Carrera GT was first registered on 13/01/1982 and is 1 of just 335 LHD cars produced by Porsche to meet homologation requirements. Italian ACI documentation tracks the ownership of the car throughout its life, staying with the first owner for 20 years before being sold in 2002, with 5 Italian owners shown in total. In 2014 the car was exported to Germany with 27,000 km on the clock before being purchased by the current owner, who imported the car to the UK in 2016 and had it fully registered with a V5 in 2018.

Service history is sporadic with 3 stamps in the original service book from Porsche main dealers whilst the car was Italy, its last at 26,860 in 2014. It is therefore difficult to verify the mileage however the condition of the car suggests this is genuine.

Present with the car is the original Carrera GT service book/owners manual, ACI Certification and ownership log alongside its UK V5.

The RS2 used the most powerful and well developed inline 5 cylinder turbo charged engine that had powered so many Quattro over the past 15 years. It firmly established Audi as a producer of practical high performance vehicles something that it excels at today.

This MFI has been subject to a recent comprehensive cosmetic overhaul whilst in Portugal and remains in lovely condition having been restored over a 7 year period between 2014 – 2021.

With such a small footprint compared to modern machinery the balance of bodywork colour, dark trim and chrome accents is both simple and effective.

Black trim is in good order throughout and it’s the same story for the contrasting brightwork to the lone driver’s mirror, headlamp surrounds and quite delightful staggered Fuchs.
