When it’s been one of those “weeks” only answer is to open the fizz and have cuddles from my girls!

Two days of no phone, no bookings and no telling people I can’t squeeze it in and feeling guilty.
Boom….see you all Monday for the next week of 🥵😫

Needless to say…..we are all running on empty. Another scorching week in the workshop/office 🥵

Next week is still going to be very warm so please bare with us, we are fully booked until the 2nd week in Aug (MOt slots available only)

Any MOT failures depending what it is may not be repaired within your 10day free re-test time scale!

Top Tips…

1. When calling to book your car or bike into the garage….be prepared and know your reg number. Makes my life soooooo much easier!

2. Plan…know your MOT expiry date. We tend to work on at least 2 weeks notice on the diary….we book up quick. It is your responsibility to know what’s happening with your car.

3. Always have your locking wheel but to hand, even if you are only booked for an MOT, you never know when you will need it!

4. Please don’t be disappointed when I can’t “squeeze in a clutch/head gasket or massive engine failure” the next day. I will try my best but I’m not a magician 🪄

What you are seeing is a before and after photo of a oil strainer/pick up.

This is the result of what happens when a wet belt (timing belt/cam belt) degrades causing blockages

If you do not change your timing belt when required this can result in catastrophic disaster and it will be time out for your engine!

Timing belt changes are pricey HOWEVER a new engine is worse! Know your cars peeps!!!

The boys have lost at least 2 stone and have sweated out their own body weight this week.

Off home to spray ourselves with the garden hose!!

As you are all aware, the weather is going to be pretty warm!
Spare a thought for my mechanics working in nearly 40 degree heat.

We are as always blooming busy and with an already full diary for the next 3 weeks I just cannot book major/large jobs in the diary at the moment

I hate saying “no” but it might be the case at the min.

Air con jobs available (re gas) as these are easily done by a machine and not a mech!

Ice creams welcome if passing 🥵🤣
