EHRA: A New Era in RUF Performance
The new RUF Automobile GmbH EHRA has arrived. As the latest RUF model based on our carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, the EHRA is designed with grand touring in mind while retaining the extreme performance expected of RUF vehicles. Named after the legendary Ehra-Lessien proving ground where legendary racing driver Phil Hill achieved a world record-breaking top speed feat in the CTR “Yellowbird”.
New front and rear fascias, a sleek fastback with an intentional lack of a fixed whale tail, wider front and rear tracks (58mm wider in front and 54mm wider in rear compared to the CTR Anniversary), and newly designed five-spoke centerlock forged alloy wheels give the car a purposeful look while enhancing cooling, stability and high-speed performance.
A 3.6-liter twin-turbo boxer six-cylinder engine delivers 650 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. Its fully variable all-wheel-drive system is paired with a seven-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, giving the driver confidence in all conditions and maximizing traction while retaining the possibility of rear-wheel-drive dynamics. The suspension features a double-wishbone configuration at all four corners with pushrod-actuated horizontal adaptive dampers, delivering incredibly precise feedback and immediate response to driver inputs while retaining an everyday-usable ride. Each component has been designed and engineered to achieve the perfect balance between lightweight construction, durability, precision and driver engagement.
