Hi all
Not posted for a while
We are busy n loving it
Our 1800 has the gearbox stripped to repair a cracked survo unit, this had damaged the rear brake band, a new band and a replacement survo are fitted along with a reconditioned torque converter
The engine has been fitted with a new MGB camshaft and a S head, so I’m hoping it will be smoother and have a bit more go
We have a Austin maxi in with a oil leak and brake problems
Drive shaft seals replaced, steering rack replaced and a servo and master cylinder
The brakes had been fitted with parts from a Land Rover and didn’t work well
The three minis we have in have had a lot of work, the 1275 GT now has a new front end and it’s looking better than new
The red mini has a new rear end and the 1100 special has had the engine stripped to find it is completely worn out’ new cylinder liner’s, pistons valves , hard seats, also a new front subframe and suspension
The MGB engine is rebuilt with new pistons, shells, camshaft and a big valve head
Conner has now got a nice 600rover to run round
The xj6 has new head lining and so does the Wolseley
Lots of work to do and fantastic classic cars to put right

Hi all
Weather is getting cooler soon be time for workshop heating
We are busy but getting there
We have a late mini 1275 GT in for restoration, not a bad body apart from the front end, we have built the engine ready, got the front end cut off and awaiting new panels
Our 1800 received a new electric fuel pump, this is so I can fit a MGB camshaft, I have a big valve head, camshaft, and distributor to fit along with a new torque converter, gears are a bit bumpy and the tapets are noisy, hopefully get time next week
The Wolseley 18/85 has gone back to its owner
Looking very nice and driving well, it has been off the road for forty four years, a pleasure to see it on the road again
We have a Renault van in with engine problems, a misfire on number for cylinder, after much work it has been traced to the ecu, hopefully when repaired it will run like new
Our rover received a new belt kit and water pump plus a service, it’s been a very good car so far
We had a Triumph TR7 in for upgraded brakes
We discs and calipers from willwood, MGB engine is stripped and off to be rebored +60 this should dive it a bit more go along with the fast road camshaft
We have had in a VW scirocco in for a lot of work, suspension, brakes, exhaust, stereo, lights, looking very nice n sounds fantastic
Lots more coming in and still lots in the workshop

Hi all
We are having a fab time working on lovely old cars
It’s nice to meet the people and there cars
The blue Wolseley is now painted and is being refitted so it will soon be gone, a lot of work has gone into this car and it is looking really nice
We have had a triumph spitfire in with alternator problems, over charging as a result the battery gave up and so did the voltage stabiliser leaving the temp and fuel gauge not working, a replacement alternator and battery along with a new voltage stabiliser put things right and it’s back on the road
We have a Vw scirocco in for various jobs, mot, modified exhaust, lowered springs, a rewire of the radio, and a check over, this is a well looked after car, the red Wolseley six now has new head lining we will be fitting the glass next , a few small jobs to do and it will be. Ready to go
We have a green Austin 1800 in for a steering rack rebuild and rubber joints, drive shaft , tune up the car had been converted to negative earth, this meant that the heater motor was running the wrong way, resulting in a poor demise in the winter
The heater was removed ant the wiring swiped over so it will run the correct way
We are still having a lot of landcrabs in for work and it’s nice to see them
A few more booked in for various work including a 2200 they a becoming rare now
Also we may have another 1800 Ute in for work
The jaguar 420 G is finished, I had a lovely drive out in it the other night, a pleasure to drive
Finally Sorted the rattle from the passenger door, a result of a few screws missing

Hi all
We seam to be busy with landcrabs or BMC 1800 and there cousins
We had nine at the garage last week
The 18/85 is prepared for paint dealing with the many dents it has accumulated over its years of storage
The Wolseley six is having its cleaned trim fitted with new carpets and head lining, all the lights are fitted and working, new headlight Bowles as the old ones were rotted
We had a lovely 1800 Ute in for gearbox problems
These were only made in Australia and I believe only 400 automatic ones made , there is only two automatic Ute in the uk
This one would randomly change gear, upon inspection it was found to be full of bits broken up brake bands
We removed the engine and box and stripped the gear box replacing the brake bands and rear servo
It now drive well there was also a engine oil pressure problem this was a bad seal on the oil pick up
Nice to meet the owner, a Australian guy
The jaguar 420g has received a replacement radio modified for the electric aerial
