Unfortunately, due to Covid closure 8 months in the last year, I am no longer teaching. Good luck to all those starting out in their driving. Stay safe.

Covid lockdowns have closed my business for 4 months this year. I have taken the decision to close the business and sought other employment.
I will be honouring tests booked but not teaching those without tests booked.

Congratulations to Will Monteiro on passing his test first time. He persevered practising at home during lockdown. Achieved key worker status and after a few refresher lessons passed at his first attempt.

Well done to Will and his dad for the hard work.

About an hour ago announcement made by Government that driving lessons can start from Saturday 4th July and driving tests from 22nd July.

I'm expecting an email from DVSA to outline requirements. Hopefully start contacting customers from tomorrow to sort lessons.

Just had a very lengthy email from DVSA. Essentially, they are looking at rescheduling those tests that were originally moved from April to beginning of July.

They have a lot of work to do before test centres can be opened. This is around health and safety of the location, examiners and customers.

The email offers no date for allowing the resumption of driving lessons.

The email does state instructors will be told when instruction can recommence.

I will contact all current customers and those who have contacted regarding new clients as soon as I know anything.
