Something a little different here for one of our regular customers, mini digger with a no start issue.

Diagnosed it to a faulty fuel pump solenoid also changed all fuses as they were corroding and dirty ✅

New solenoid replaced ✅

All new fuses and fuse box connectors all cleaned up ✅

Also had a new flexi piece put in the exhaust due to old one being snapped ✅

All Back up and running as it should be 😎

DS3 wet belt replaced due to the vehicle arriving with a low oil pressure fault.

The low oil pressure on this one was caused from de-grading of the wet belt. As the belt breaks down, particles and fibres can mix with the engine oil and collect in the sump. This then builds ups on the oil pickup gauze, creating a blockage that restricts oil flow and reduces oil pressure to the engine.

Ignoring the issue can eventually lead to engine damage or even complete engine failure.

Fiat doblo, engine locked up while driving 🤦🏻‍♂️
When inspected it turned out to be the crankshaft pulley that had failed.

Part of the metal collar connected to the pulley by factory spot welds snapped off and got wedged between the timing belt causing it to come out of time.

X16 valves reseated ✔️
X16 followers + lifters ✔️
Head gasket set ✔️

Pug 3008 in due to just stopping running while driving.
Diagnosed it to have no compression ✅
This was due to a extortionate amount of carbon build up around the valves causing them to not seal also found damage on some of the rocker arms.
Headskimmed, de-carbonised, new headbolts + headgasket set with all bolts/gaskets inbetween ✅
Also opted for a upgraded cam box which has fatter chain compared to factory to prevent future problems ✅
Timing belt + water pump. Fresh coolant ✅
Fresh Oil + oil filter ✅
Carbon build up is mainly due to short distance driving, not allowing the engine to get hot enough to help burn off any carbon this car for example had only 50k on clock 👀 😮

Renualt clio tce came in with a non start issue, diagnosed it to be a slack timing chain.

When stripped down there was a broken chain guide also it was full of excess silicone in the sump and oil pick up filter due to someone applying to much silicone to casings the last time they were apart this caused low oil pressure and the chain tensioner to fail resulting in the timing chain slipping a few teeth out of sync resulting in valve damage 🤦🏻‍♂️

Oil pump chain kit + timing chain kit ✅

Head gasket + headbolts + all other gaskets needed inbetween✅

Head skimmed + 16 valves replaced✅

Sump pan ✅

Oil + oil filter ✅

Fresh coolant ✅

Aux belt ✅
