We thought you might like to see a little of what goes into restoring the interior of a BMW E24.

Perhaps it is worth remembering that a good seat is about considerably more than its covering. These have been carefully retrimmed in our trim shop, with the original leather providing a useful reminder of how far they have come.

One of those jobs that reminds us why having a specialist trim shop in-house matters.

Our Isetta 300 has had an interior makeover by Simon, with every piece carefully trimmed and finished to suit this wonderfully unusual little car.

It's amazing what the right interior can do. Our fresh paintwork was already making this Isetta look fantastic, but once Simon's work went in, it really came together. Scroll through the pictures to see behind the scenes...

Not every panel comes off the shelf.

For this De Tomaso Longchamp, our fabrication team have been building bespoke rear panels from scratch, shaping and welding them to suit the original bodywork.

A fair amount of time goes into getting the shape, fit and lines right before the paintshop ever sees it.

One of our favourite little cars, and what a transformation.

Our isetta 300 has just come through the bodyshop and trim shop, with a beautiful respray and a complete interior makeover bringing this very special little car back to life.

From the paintwork to the smallest details inside, this is exactly the sort of work we love doing at Pristine.

Small car. Serious amount of love.

And yes, we think it looks absolutely fantastic.

We thought it was time to introduce the next project we’ll be working on.

This 1986 Defender 90 is here with us at Pristine, and work is now beginning on what promises to be a rather special build.

Full mechanical restoration, a new V8 engine and a great many other improvements are already planned.

There is, of course, considerably more to come. For the moment, we shall simply say that this is one Land Rover worth keeping an eye on.

It was an absolute pleasure having Sam from Sam’s Garage and Steve Clark from Race Collective with us at Pristine.

They travelled quite a way to come and spend the day with us, so a massive thank you to both of them. We had a brilliant day talking cars, restorations and everything we love about the industry.

A great day out at the Gaptized Season Finale!

A huge thank you to Jordan and Ryan and their team for organising such a brilliant event! 🙌 We’ve had a fantastic time, met some great people and enjoyed seeing a superb collection of motors.
