At Castle Combe this weekend but unfortunately without Colin and the 355 Spider so just Lewis in the 348 to look after.
We had a successful Test Day on Thursday and this morning he qualified 8th on the grid.
Race 1 this afternoon and then two races tomorrow.

A quick rundown on Festival Italia a couple of weeks ago...not quite the relaxed weekend we expected, as during the test on the Thursday with Jake Hill we experienced a slight Power Steering leak which had to be addressed before race day. After that was done the 355 failed its noise test at Scrutineering so th exhaust system had to be removed and repacked which caused us to be late for the Grid Walk at Lunchtime.
Ready for the race though we had qualified 3rd on the grid but after 6 laps the Drivebelt failed which caused the engine to overheat so Colin retired.
A new Drivebelt was rapidly fitted for race 2 and the 355 reprepped as the turnaround between the two races was tight. A great race and no further issues resulted in the fastest lap of the race and a 3rd place finish.

We now have a 4 weekend gap before we head to Castle Combe for the final meeting of the Superformance Ferrari Club Classics.

A great Race 2, Colin got a great start and was running 3rd but then the Red Flags came out and paused the race due to a Civic having an incident....on the restart Jason Hughes had a slight issue, couldn't fire up the Vectra so had to do a restart from the back of the grid. Once we were racing again Jason quickly passed 3 cars by Druids, then another 3 by the time he was starting the next lap.....gaining on the Peugeot by nearly a second a lap, the clock was counting down but Colin managed to fight off the Vectra to the line....a 2nd Place finish for Colin in the Peugeot just ahead of Jason Hughes in the Vectra by a tenth of a second across the line. šŸ
