Another GTR needed some TLC this week.
This 2009 example was bought recently and the new owner decided to thrust us with his new pride and joy.
Being a very early car, she had a badly corroded rear subframe and OEM brake discs/pads and rubber brake lines. Also had a leaking power steering cooler and rotten rear coil springs. So we fitted:
-New subframe (under sealed before fitted)
-New coil springs
-New set of EBC brake discs and pads all around.
-New power steering cooler and pipes

We also updated the audio system with new speakers and an Apple Car Play controller .
That is what we call :

Finally we have a little bit better weather for the weekend.🤞🤞🤞
Our workshop had yet another very busy week, thank you very much for everyone trusting us with all your beautiful machines 🙏🙂.
R35 servicing, Stage 4.25 upgrade, 2 bel house replacement (paid by aftermarket warranty), ABS pump repairs,350Z engine rebuild (after catastrophic oil starvation), Lotus 4 wheel alignment and race setup, just to mention a few from this week 👍😁.

Replacement engine oil cooler with our Stainless Steel pipe kit replacing the rotten and leaking old ones. Not only improved cooling but also removing the fire hazard that could destroy this GT-R..

This old lady came to us today with a full dealer service history as the customer's local Nissan dealer no longer takes on performance cars.
The health check which was carried out along with the full service came with some shocking surprises.
Rear subframe has huge holes and significant weakened.
Alignment bolts for the suspension rotted away and never seen a spanner.
Exhaust nuts are not existent anymore.
Under tray brackets rotted away and most bolts snapped previously.
Coil springs are so badly corroded they are minutes away from snapping.
Just to mention a few issues we need to sort out.
The problem is that the customer was thinking that the dealership has done everything to keep his pride and joy in top condition and they never mentioned any issues just took the money for "services" for years without really caring about the car or the customer.
Luckily now she is in good hands and will return to restore her former glory 👍🙂
