After doing work on some of their employees cars, Signs and Design in Lordswood asked me to service and sort a water leak on one of the company vehicles. The vans do plenty of miles and was defiantly due a service and the water leak was coming from the water pump which was replaced along with some new coolant ready to be used again.

This Honda Civic Type R has seen better days from leaking brake calipers to worn out lower arms and ball joints on both sides, the list kept on growing. But in the end all the jobs where done and the car felt safer and more stable on the road.

Returning customer! This Nissan 350z was due to drive to Germany for the Nurburgring. They asked me to fit an aluminium under tray and hel brake lines all round. Unfortunately the front solid brake lines were so badly corroded they had to be replaced this ended up being quite a major job but it was sorted in time. The customer said the brakes felt the best they have ever been even after going around the ring twice.

New sump & gasket along with a modified rocker cover gasket fitted to the MK2 Golf restoration solving the two oil leaks it had.

Mercedes A-Class in for an MOT and Full Service. Unfortunately it failed on two front tyres but the customer didn’t have to do a thing as I got the two tyres sorted and the car retested the very next day.

The owner of this Volkswagen Golf told me they had a horrible noise coming from the back. It’s safe to say they got their moneys worth out of this set of brakes.

Customer said his Nissan Qashqai didn’t quite feel right when pulling away and stopping quickly. After a short drive I found that the lower engine mount was badly worn/damaged. Considering it was the original mounting it hasn’t done badly covering over 125,000 miles. A new mounting was fitted and the car was driving fine and feeling normal again.

Fiat 500 in for a full service. This little fiat has been well looked after and maintained however it still had its original pollen filter. These pollen filters are known for being awkward to change but they should still be changed because they filters the air coming into the car which is air that you are breathing, these filters can become moldy if left for long periods of time. Don’t chance breathing in dirty and moldy air get your pollen filter changed!
