Red Traffic Lights 🚦

What does a red traffic light mean? 🚦

Stop 🛑 do not proceed!

So why do so many people go through red lights? 🤔
Impatience? 😳
Rush to die? 💀
It’s not just the people who you think would do it, it’s people who you would think would know better! 🙄

How would you feel if one of your loved ones was killed by someone going through a red light? 🚦

🚨 Woman charged after pretending to be a driving instructor

A 40 year old woman has been charged with six counts of fraud after claiming to be a qualified driving instructor.

The case has been brought by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency.
Prosecutors say she falsely claimed to be an approved instructor listed on the DVSA register with the intention of making money from it.

The offences are said to have taken place between February and November 2024 in the Culcheth, Irlam, Cadishead, and Eccles areas.

She was due to appear at Warrington Magistrates Court this week and the outcome has not yet been released.

To legally teach driving in the UK, a person must
✅ Be aged 21 or over
✅ Hold a full driving licence for at least three years
✅ Pass a three part qualifying process which includes theory, practical, and instructional ability tests ( green badge )
✅ Pass part 1 and 2 , and apply for a trainee license a PDI ( pink badge )
✅ Complete a criminal record check ( A DBS)

⚠️ Always ask to see your instructor’s DVSA badge before starting lessons. ( Green or pink )

It should be displayed on the windscreen of every tuition car.

If you suspect someone is teaching illegally, report it directly to the DVSA to help protect other learners.

That were too busy? 😳

Well that’s a good thing! 😁

Personally if I was enquiring about driving lessons or someone to do some work on my house and they could start straight away. Then I’d be wondering why they’re not busy! 🤔

Yes all of our instructors are busy but we operate a little differently to other instructors when it comes to booking lessons in. We don’t book anyone in until they have paid for that lesson. This enables us to have pupils who are committed to lessons and learning to drive. Thus contributing to our amazing first time pass rate. 🤩

So don’t be put off if you hear we’re too busy and you’re committed to learning to drive. We want to hear from you! 👍🏻
