🚐 **TRANSIT MK8 – KEEP IT SIMPLE, KEEP THE COSTS DOWN! πŸ‘Œ**

This Transit Mk8 first came to us a couple of months ago to get the conversion underway. It’s now back with us to have the living area finished off, turning it into a simple, practical camper without spending a fortune.

The finishing touches include:

βœ… Blinds fitted
βœ… 65-litre fridge
βœ… L-shaped lounge with plenty of under-seat storage
βœ… Lavanda sink
βœ… Over cab storage

The owner is going to add the cushions themselves, helping keep the overall cost down even further.

You don’t need an expensive, fully loaded conversion to enjoy vanlife. This build shows that by keeping things simple and focusing on the essentials, you can have a fully functioning camper without breaking the bank.

Thinking about a campervan conversion in Rochdale? We can help you build your van around your needs and budget, and we’re happy to tackle projects in stages.

🚐 OUT WITH THE ROCK & ROLL BED... IN WITH A MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE L-SHAPE LAYOUT πŸ‘Œ

Another VW T6 has come to us for a furniture layout change, replacing the uncomfortable and difficult-to-use rock and roll bed with a much more comfortable and sociable L-shape seat and bed layout.

The customer wanted to mix things up a little with the finish, so we've used a different laminate for the bed to the existing furniture that's staying, then carried the same finish through onto the door panels.

It's a great example of how changing the furniture layout can completely change the way you use your campervan.

βœ”οΈ More comfortable seating
βœ”οΈ Much more sociable living space
βœ”οΈ Easier to use
βœ”οΈ Different laminate finish for the bed
βœ”οΈ Matching door panels
βœ”οΈ Comfortable sleeping area

If you're fed up with your rock and roll bed or simply want your camper to feel more like a proper living space, a layout change could make a huge difference.

🚐 ANOTHER TRANSIT CUSTOM GETTING THE CAMPER TREATMENT

This Transit Custom has already been to us for two campervan windows and has now come back for the next stage β€” fitting a Skyline poptop roof.

The owner is carpeting the van himself, and once that's finished it'll be back with us for the final part of the job:

βœ”οΈ Bi-fold bed
βœ”οΈ Vulcan rock and roll bed

It's always nice to see a build coming together in stages, with the owner taking care of the jobs they want to do themselves and us handling the specialist work.

We're fully trained Skyline poptop roof installers, so if you're planning your own campervan build, get in touch and let us know what you need help with.

We provide campervan conversions in Rochdale, from individual upgrades and poptop installations through to complete builds.

🚐 TURN YOUR STANDARD CAMPERVAN LAYOUT INTO A TINY HOME 🏑

Another VW campervan in for an L-shape layout upgrade, replacing the traditional rock and roll bed with a much more comfortable and sociable setup.

The usual off-the-shelf campervan layout works for some people, but changing the furniture layout can completely transform how your van feels and how you use the space.

An L-shape layout gives you:

βœ”οΈ More comfortable seating
βœ”οΈ A more sociable living area
βœ”οΈ More storage
βœ”οΈ A more homely feel
βœ”οΈ A comfortable sleeping area

It's amazing what a change of layout can do. Instead of feeling like you're sitting in a van, you can make it feel much more like your own little home on wheels.

Thinking about improving your camper for next year's trips? The winter is the perfect time to get those upgrades booked in.

πŸ“© Get in touch to discuss changing your campervan layout and make next year's adventures even better.

🚐 ANOTHER BASE CONVERSION READY FOR THE NEXT STAGE πŸ”§

This Peugeot Expert came to us for a base campervan conversion, taking it to the point where the owner can now add their own furniture and finish the interior themselves.

We've concentrated on getting the important groundwork completed properly:

βœ”οΈ 2 opening campervan windows
βœ”οΈ Lithium leisure battery
βœ”οΈ DC-DC charger
βœ”οΈ Fully insulated
βœ”οΈ Fully carpet lined
βœ”οΈ New ply panels to the sides and ceiling
βœ”οΈ 6 touch-operated LED spot lights
βœ”οΈ Existing floor retained

The result is a comfortable, insulated and carpet-lined van with the electrical system and key installation work already taken care of, ready for the owner to continue with their own furniture.

A base conversion is a great option if you want to build your own camper but would rather leave the more specialist or time-consuming jobs to us.

🚐 SOMETIMES YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT'S UNDERNEATH UNTIL YOU START TAKING THINGS APART...

This VW Caddy came to us already carpet lined, with an old diesel heater that unfortunately wasn't working.

Once we started removing the carpet and panels, we found there was no sound deadening and very little, if any, insulation. So rather than simply cover it back up, we stripped the van right back and started again.

This stage of the transformation included:

βœ”οΈ Sound deadening throughout
βœ”οΈ Fully insulated
βœ”οΈ Two barn door windows fitted
βœ”οΈ Solar panel with MPPT charger
βœ”οΈ New ceiling with touch-operated spot lights
βœ”οΈ New floor
βœ”οΈ Doors carpeted in stone carpet
βœ”οΈ Rest of the van finished in anthracite carpet

The customer has now taken the Caddy away to enjoy this stage and decide what they'd like to do next with the conversion.

That's one of the great things about building a campervan in stages β€” you don't have to have everything planned from day one. Get the foundations right, then build the van around how you want to use it.

Whether you're starting from scratch, upgrading an existing conversion or need help putting right work that's already been done, we provide campervan conversions and campervan upgrades in Rochdale.

🚐 SMALL VAN, BIG IDEAS... AND LOADS OF STORAGE! πŸ‘Œ

This Peugeot Partner has been transformed into a practical micro camper, and for such a small van, we've managed to create a surprising amount of storage.

In fact, the owners say there's more storage in this than in the T6 they used to have! 😲

βœ”οΈ Storage underneath the seats
βœ”οΈ Pull-out drawer at the rear
βœ”οΈ 6 handy cubby holes
βœ”οΈ Bungy cord instead of cupboard doors
βœ”οΈ Fully carpet lined
βœ”οΈ Campervan windows fitted
βœ”οΈ Power supplied by a portable power bank

We love it when customers come to us with their own ideas, and we always do our best to turn those ideas into reality.

A micro camper doesn't need to be huge to be practical. It's about making the best use of the space you've got.

πŸ“© Thinking about converting a small van into a micro camper? Get in touch and let's see what we can create.

We provide micro camper conversions and campervan conversions in Rochdale, working with our customers to create layouts that suit how they actually use their van.
