First seat repair of the week was Clives pocket rocket Fiesta ST. The drivers seat bolster had the usual wear and tear, which lets the look of the car down. Not a problem, we removed the 3 side panels on the base and replaced them with black vinyl and restitch with red French seam. Clive was very happy with the finish 😎

We had the pleasure of re-trimming the interior on Daz's stunning T6. Daz wanted to replicate the seats he had in his previous Transporter so we sorted it for him. The front seats have been re-trimmed in black leather with perforated leather centres and fillets. The centres have been stitched with red double diamond for a pop of colour. We also added the perforated leather to the armrests and side of the headrests. The rear seats have been retrimmed in black vinyl to match the fronts. Daz went with this option as the rear seats are removed most of the time and not used much when fitted. Daz was over the moon

Forgot to post the completed photos of Andy's VW Karmann. Once we have some of the seats fitted in the car I'll update the post. Andy supplied new seat foams to replace the old coconut style pads for more comfort. We fitted these and completed the seats in black pebble vinyl with black basket weave centres with a fluted style stitch to give it an original look. Kirsty cleaned and sprayed the metal seats frames and we think the finished look is amazing. This is an amazing looking car with an interior to match.

When Bob the builder turns his hand to the automotive sector πŸ™„ a local customer Roger came to us with the usual headliner sag in his MG estate. Not a problem I thought, till I tried to get the centre light out and remove the headliner board. The light did not want to budge so at that point I knew it had been permantly fixed. After turning the air blue and prising at the light it eventually came out to reveal some bright spark had fixed it in place with expanding foam! Now this stuff sticks like πŸ’© to a blanket but we got it all cleaned off and we retrimmed the headliner in an oem cloth to complement the interior colour and fitted everything back in to place. See the before and after photo's of the transformation

Sorry for the radio silence recently, we are extremely busy in the workshop and haven't had the time to post much work.

One of our top followers, Colin, contacted us all the way from the Netherlands and asked us to make some bespoke doorcards for his VW T25 Syncro. Colin made a template of the lettering and Caroline expertly sewed the design on to black vinyl with wine thread to match Colin's van. This was no easy task and took time and precision to stitch the double lines evenly. Once completed we posted the doorcard covers over to Colin in the Netherlands where he glued them on to his doorcards and they look amazing!!
