Range Rover sport 4.2 V8 supercharged 💨

Came in for a clonking noise when on full lock and a knocking noise going over bumps.

After a full check over, we found that the CV joint had lost all its grease, the lower arm bush had excessive movement, play in drop link and anti roll bar bushes, as well as the propshaft centre bearing was no longer attached.

Back to the customer now being able to enjoy the sound of that V8 instead of the constant knocking and clonking! As well as being able to roll a long with confidence that the propshaft is not going to break!

Customer is rebuilding the engine and subframe themselves then back to us for refit then for the rear subframe to be removed for the same to happen at the back end!

Range Rover sport in for investigation as it had the engine light on and a lack of power. After investigation we found that the inlet manifold/rocker covers had cracked causing an air leak.

Whilst we’re there we’ve replaced both timing belts and carried out an oil service. Rebooked for lower arms and a handbrake module soon!
