What a beautiful Autumn day it is out there! Here's a picture of my latest addition which blends in lovely with the surroundings. I hope you are all keeping well. I must admit I've been feeling a bit fed up this last month in this second lockdown. I feel guilty really as I have a lovely, healthy family, a roof over my head and food on the table so what do I have to be down about?? Just before this lockdown, I met a lovely couple who bought a wheelchair vehicle from me. The lady bought it for her husband who had been struggling to walk for some time. She was his full time carer and had the odd 2 hour break - life was tough for them both. When we were on a test drive, she told me that when she had this break, she would sit on the car on her drive as she was reluctant to venture out due to COVID. I felt so sorry for her - she was such a happy, strong woman and a real inspiration. So when I'm feeling a bit sad, I think of her and many of my customers who have made a real difference to my outlook on life over the last few years!!! I wanted to share the lovely review she left me so here it is.

We found Jane to be friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful and a complete breath of fresh air as we were not pressured at all. Jane even stayed late to enable us to pick up our vehicle at short notice ! We are very happy with both the vehicle and the customer service we received from Jane and would advise anyone who is looking for a WAV to pop along and see Jane as you will not be disappointed. We would also like to thank Jane for the very beautiful flowers which were delivered to our house the following day. Such a lovely surprise ! Thank you X

Very happy to be able to share these pictures of Christoper with his new WAV! Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet him but met his parents and carers who were a lovely bunch. Christopher loves travelling in the car, watching the traffic and the colour blue so this was the perfect vehicle for him. We also delivered it to Twickenham for him - all included in the price! So after 10 long weeks, I’m officially back at work tomorrow! I hope you have all been well. I have been very lucky that my family and friends have been well and healthy. I’ve had some very memorable times with my family and I feel very blessed. I’ve also had some lovely customers over the last few months - so much so, I am running out of stock! The good news is I have more stock due in this week. Please keep your eye on my website www.thewavman.co.uk. During the coming months, my priority is the safety of my customers so appointments will obviously include strict social distancing and other precautionary measures. Viewings can be made by video link which has worked really well with customers since lockdown. Can’t wait to get back now xx
