This MG3 was having trouble selecting gears, the pivot on the gear selection turret was badly worn, luckily this bit was available separately which saved buying a complete turret assembly. The gears now slot into place as they should.

Another little job was a leaking coolant pipe which was noted on MOT, but after several failed promises from the previous garage getting the part in, we managed to get one next day and fitted.

You guessed it.... yes we can work on the new Chinese MG's athough we dont see many of them as they seem to be quite well built.....

But this new MG ZS SUV came into us for the traction control and abs constantly cutting in. Turned out that the passenger wheel bearing had quite a bit of play, causing the sensor gap to became too great, thus the abs module thinking the wheel had locked up.....

A new genuine bearing was fitted and a road test had confirmed the fault was fixed.

What an awesome piece of machinery.....

This Baja beetle conversion came in for running very rich, not running awfully well and sump full of fuel.
We diagnosed as stuck floats in the carburetors, we rebuilt the carbs with genuine webber kits, carried out full set up of fuel, timing, balancing of carbs and an oil change....
Getting the ballance between cold start and hot start/running was challenging as these carbs have no choke feature.

This was very interesting to drive say the least 🤣 with everyone i drove past looking at it.

Last little job the customer wanted was to have a different radio installed.

But here is this well loved MGTF LE500 which came in for a full service, MOT and pads & discs.

Couldent find any mid job photos so must of been that busy 😅
