It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Pay on the 18th January. Liz passed peacefully, surrounded by family.
Liz was without doubt the most selfless person we will ever have the privilege of knowing. She was a friend to all she met, whether colleague or customer.
From the beginning back in 1994, her hard work ethic and dedication built the values that we still have today - her guidance, humour and sometimes straightforward advice were invaluable, both professionally and personally.
Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.

We are hiring!
We are looking for someone to work in our busy service reception for Citroen and Toyota.
The role is customer facing and involves general office duties. (telephone call handling, managing bookings, invoicing etc), plus looking after customers in the waiting area.
If you have previous experience in the motor trade or a keen interest in cars then this would be an advantage.
Hours can be flexible, full time would be great, but part time is possible (even fitting between school runs).

Abbey Motor Group are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to work within their busy Dual Franchised Dealership working with two excellent and highly desirable market leading brands.
We are an independently owned company, not a corporate group, You will be working in a friendly but focused environment to manufacturer standards and timescales.
You must hold a level 2 qualification as a minimum, applicants from both Main Dealer and Independent Workshops are welcomed, an MOT license is preferred but not essential for this position.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience , with company pension.
Manufacturer backed ongoing training through to Master / Consultant Technician and ongoing development is offered with this role including HEV and EV technology.

As a Vehicle Technician, your role will include:
• Performing vehicle repairs to a high standard.
• General servicing of vehicles.
• Diagnosing faults with customer vehicles using manufacturer equipment
• Completion of paperwork to support repairs
• Road testing vehicles to test repair work.
• Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.

E10. We have had a lot of enquiries this week to see if your Citroen or DS can run on E10 fuel.
The happy answer is : If your Citroen or DS is year 2000 on, then it CAN run on E10.
This lovely 2CV can't. so if yours is pre 2000, move to super unleaded E5 and enjoy your driving :)

On Saturday 31st July, there's a big event at the Merstham Recreation ground - a very well deserved HUGE day out for the local community. Lots of activities, lots of fun, and lots of prizes!
