🔧 Perodua Kelisa 2008 – Job Completed!
Another job successfully sorted on a Perodua Kelisa 2008 today.

A friend had unfortunately snapped a bolt on the plate that tensions the power steering pump belt which meant the belt was loose and couldn’t be re tensioned. At first it looked like it might turn into a much bigger problem and that the pump was condemned being parts for these cars are no longer obtainable in the UK.

After carefully removing the pump and bracket plate, we worked on extracting the snapped bolt. Big thanks to his friend Matthew, who helped grind and remove the damaged bolt down so we could weld a new one in place. What looked impossible at the start ended up being completely fixable.

While we were there, we also carried out a few extra bits of maintenance.
🔆Fitted 3 new spark plugs
🔆Replaced the windscreen wipers
🔆Repaired and refitted the power steering pump bolt.

We honestly didn’t think that bolt was coming out at first, but with a bit of patience, the right tools, and teamwork, we got it done and the car is back together properly.
Another example that even tricky jobs can be sorted with the right approach. 💪

Little bit of progress on one of our motors over the weekend Belamè 🔧

Swapped out the shocks and replaced the wing panel that had seen better days. Nice to get it back together and looking a lot better again.
Slowly getting there with this one — few more jobs to do but it’s good to tick a couple of jobs off the list. 🚗 Nearly ready for the camping 🏕 season to begin.
Even our dog Hugo helped supervise 😂🐕

I was out today diagnosing a Ford Transit MK7 Van with a brake issue. I carried out a full brake bleed in the hope it would solve the problem, but unfortunately the issue is still present, so a bit more work will be needed to get it fully sorted.
Even though the issue wasn’t completely resolved today, the customer was very pleased with the service and appreciated the honest diagnosis and time taken to explain everything clearly. 👍
I always aim to provide reliable, honest and professional service, making sure customers understand exactly what’s going on with their vehicle.

Engine flush carried out followed by fresh oil and Filters change.
New Brake discs and pads fitted.

1.6 petrol. Full service, oil and filter change. Replaced the lower gearbox dogbone mount and resealed the cam inspection cover with gasket rocker sealant.
