Z900A4 cylinderhead build. Viton valve guide seals. Head skimmed. Valve guides replaced.valve seats cut. Valves faced. I shortened the valves to get in to a bigger shim range. Pre-shimmed ready to fit.

Stripped down the UK A4. Someone had pulled the threads and tighted up the nut but the adjuster was not engaging. That and a couple of rattly cam wheels. Were responsible for the rattle coming from the motor .The front guide was hanging by a thread . Very common problem, now these bikes are over 50 years old now.

UK z900A4. I've taken the cylinderhead apart. Some cam wheels rattling around and four of the guides have excessive wear...

UK z900A4. I've taken the cylinderhead apart. Some cam wheels rattling around and four of the guides have excessive wear. I have to remove the bottom studs so the head can be faced. Two of these were seized in. Lots of heat and after welding a nut on to remove them, they were not shifting and snapped off. I have drilled out the old studs and tapped the threads

Uk A4 cylinderhead removed. Shiny bores. Hopefully they are in tolerance and we can get away with honing and new rings

UK z900A4 running quite well but some rattles coming from the top end. Time to investigate

Removed a spark plug from a UK z900A4. The timesert has not been fitted correctly and came out with the plug
