This one wasn’t a standard single-camera job — it was a full 360° surround-view calibration. That’s a different level of setup: dedicated floor space, precise target positioning all the way round the vehicle, and equipment most workshops simply don’t have on hand. A lot of places have to turn this work away or send it elsewhere.

This week the team at Vision Windscreens carried out a full 360° surround-view camera calibration on a BYD at a partner bodyshop, setting up our target board layout on-site to get every angle bang on spec.
Got the space? We’ll come to you. Prefer to bring it to us? We can do that too. Either way, same manufacturer-spec setup and the same result.
As more BYD, Chery and Jaecoo models land on UK roads, the surround-view and ADAS systems fitted to them are only as good as the calibration behind them. Get it wrong and drivers lose accurate parking assist, blind-spot detection and safe manoeuvring support — get it right, and the car performs exactly as the manufacturer intended.

Yep, we took the ENTIRE windscreen off a London double-decker bus today. No, we haven’t gone mad — it’s off to star in a film shoot, and we got the job of stripping the glass out ready for its big moment. 🎬

Turns out big red buses need TLC too, and honestly? We were buzzing to get stuck into something a bit different for once. Cars, vans, buses… if it’s got glass, we’re your team.

Still can’t quite believe we spent our morning working on a London bus though. Absolute win.

Panoramic roof glass, done right 🟢Not every glass job is a straightforward windscreen swap — panoramic roofs bring their own challenges. Bigger panel, more trim and headliner to work around, and it all has to go back together cleanly so there’s no risk of leaks or wind noise down the line. Today’s job was exactly that: full panoramic roof glass replacement on this Mercedes.
