Car Of The Meet - Never sleep on the mighty K10 Micra.

If there was ever a gateway drug into the JDM world this is it. Cheap to buy and on the better side for insurance for under 20"s. A great way to get into the scene.

What a great turnout.

Probably the highest number of cars for at least 5 years.

Not many taken by myself as I was busy chatting, but feel free to post or message pics.

From Mk4 Supras, MX5's, R34 and R35 GTRs to the mega Red K10 Micra, some impeccably well maintained cars came out tonight.

Thanks to all those that behaved themselves.

A small amount with small dick energy as always, but called out by most of the crowd.

Next time will hopefully be without the road works.

This Facebook group was founded in 2011.

At the time it had volunteers on the ground and behind the scenes were members of clubs such as the SXOC ensuring things ran smoothly.

It was a time when events like the "Miss Banzai Tunnel Run" and Dyno Days at Surrey Rolling Road were things that members from the Reading area and surrounds would convoy to under that banner.

This was also a period when Skylines, Evo's, RX7's and the like were coveted but no where near the price tags they are at the moment.

Less YouTube and more driving is the sum of it

The car scene today is still present in the UK, but boy did the young ones miss out on some strange times.

However, it is great to see new and young drivers still putting their all into new builds, projects and still promoting the J*p Scene ✌️
