Well, that’s it boys and girls. The Old Tin Shed has closed her doors for the final time. It’s been great fun and a pleasure to work on some amazing classics.

The Old Tin Shed Is Closing.
A change in circumstances means that the Old Tin Shed will be closing from April 2024. It has been such a lovely place to work, where I made fantastic friends and had the opportunity to help customers with some amazing little projects.
Full-time employment has taken over for the foreseeable future, and the workshop just isn't getting used by me like it should. Plus, the landlord wants to use the building for a 'cleaner' type of business.
I have some space in a new garage at home for my three little cars, so will be keeping my hand in. I might repurpose this account for my adventures in my home 'shed'. In the meantime, this is like a door closing on a very special part of my life that I will never forget.
A huge thank you to all the customers and friends that I have met at the beautiful Hewins Wood Farm, Bradfield.

Classic car storage in West Berkshire. Does anyone need to store a ‘small’ classic car in West Berkshire?
I have room for two small cars (MG, Triumph etc).

Date for your diary! Saturday 1st July our little farm estate is having an open day, and the Old Tin Shed will be open. Tea and Cakes will be served along with classic car banter.

The cars have all been run up to temperature and taken for a drive. Tyres pumped and antifreeze checked. All washed and dried and now put away for another month. I just can’t wait till spring 😆

Now sold, this little Mk1 Midget has a new home with a lovely couple in Fareham. I will miss this lovely Midget. It is such a characterful car.
