We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came to send Len off yesterday, who sent cards and flowers, who told us all your stories of him and to everyone who offered your condolences.

Stanrods meant everything to Len as did the people and we all hope we can do him proud moving forward.

If you can, please take the time to read our poem, it sums Len up. Hardworking, loyal and true

The Funeral of Len Purdy is to be held on 10th April, 14:30 at Reading Crematorium, All Hallows road, RG4 5LP and then back to Goring & Streatley golf club.
There is limited space at the Crem, so please wrap up warm.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the legend that was Len Purdy.

Len was the owner of Stanrods for over 50 years and sadly passed away on Sunday 22nd March.

Condolences to all his family, friends and staff x
