📌 A big mistake that manual car drivers make. 👇

- I noticed that some people also press the clutch pedal when they press the brake!
- First, the clutch is responsible for separating the movement only so that you can change the gearbox speed.
- Second, you lose the braking force generated by the engine itself, which is called "engine braking".
- When you lift your foot off the gas, the engine starts to brake the car, so when you press the clutch, you lose this force and increase the load on the brakes.
- Try "engine braking" yourself: lift your foot off the gas and see how much the car's speed drops, then compare it to putting the gearbox in neutral.
- Another mistake is that when stopping at signals or traffic, the foot is placed on the clutch, and this causes wear on the clutch cylinder.
- Therefore, use the clutch only when changing gear speeds or when the car's speed drops to less than 20 km/h before stopping. There is no need to press it in situations that do not require it to preserve the clutch and not wear it out.
