Meet Bruno, our newest (and possibly laziest) team member šŸ¾

Bruno the French Bulldog joined us in the office today for a trial shift. He took his role very seriously at firstā€”supervising paperwork, keeping a close eye on the computer, and even attempting to carry out a full vehicle diagnosis.

However, after a solid couple of hours of ā€œhard work,ā€ it all became a bit too muchā€¦ and letā€™s just say productivity levels dropped sharply shortly after šŸ˜“

Weā€™re currently reviewing his performance, but we suspect his strengths may lie more in morale boosting than mechanical repairs.

Safe to say, Bruno is always welcome backā€”though we might keep him away from the diagnostics next time.

We had Liamā€™s Toyota GR Yaris back in the workshop today ā€” and what a machine it is.

From factory, the GR Yaris comes equipped with a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine and intelligent four-wheel drive, producing an impressive 257 bhp. A serious performance package straight out of the box ā€” but Liam had bigger plans.

šŸ”§ Upgrades carried out:
ā€¢ HKS Super Turbo Muffler exhaust system
ā€¢ HKS Cold Air Intake with carbon fibre surround
ā€¢ Airtec Intercooler upgrade
ā€¢ Larger Airtec hard pipes
ā€¢ Airtec gearbox torque mount for improved drivetrain stability and smoother gear changes

These upgrades not only enhance performance and response but also prepare the car perfectly for its next step ā€” a custom engine tune.

The GR is now heading to the tuner to safely unlock even more bhp. Weā€™re looking forward to seeing the final numbers and will share the updated power figures once itā€™s complete.

We had this lovely 1931 MG M Type in for MOT.

Been a busy weekend in the workshop.

Full service and rear discs, pads and handbrake shoes on this RangeRover.

New turbo and service on this Nissan Qashqai which had failed due to lack of maintenance!

New oil sump on VW Transporter.

Ford Mondeo mk4 came in with a misfire after investigation we found the Rocker cover gasket had failed covering one off the spark plugs with oil. We replaced Rocker cover Gasket, spark plugs and a coil pack and now it runs lovely again.

And to finish off we replaced the Oil pressure control solenoid on Ford Mondeo ļæ¼mk5 which was causing it to occasionally go into reduced power mode.

We also filled a new battery on a Ford Ecosport and carried out a few walk in MOTā€™s.

We donā€™t usually open on weekends but we had so many bookings it was the only way we could complete the work.
Now to rest before we start a fresh week.

Busy day in the workshop today.
New clutch fitted to this Renault Traffic because the Concentric Slave Cylinder had started to leak stopping the owner being able to select any gears.

And Timing belt and water pump replaced on this Kuga due to the water pump failing to pump causing the engine to overheat.
