Hello, my name is Paul Simpson, I am an Ex fire fighter & a fully qualified Experienced Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and creator of the unique Safe Young Driver scheme (SYD) designed to teach excellent road skills and safe quality driver training. I teach in all of the Bury /Rossendale / Bolton / North Manchester & East Lancashire area. LPS is an independent family run business run by myself
and my wife Lorraine and we aim to offer all our trainees a great new skill for life and in addition help to save lives through our optional additional Safe Young Driver courses. (SYD) for short!
I drive a black Suzuki swift for my training vehicle which is a great car to learn in and really fun to drive and its DUAL CONTROLLED meaning you can feel confident while you get to know the feel of the car and all the basics!
LPS offer a choice of individual lesson actively encouraging slightly longer lesson times to really reinforce the learning process so we can offer extensions to your normal hour in 15 minute increments. We offer FREE online Theory practice training via our website at www.lpsdrivertraining.co.uk
The practical driving is tailor made to fit around your needs and takes into account your past experience with driving (if any) and your initial confidence level.
I offer 6 days a week bookings, early starts and evenings. If you are at college or a local workplace I can arrange to pick you up and drop you off to help you fit around your circumstances and your lifestyle and hopefully reduce any stress!
I have extensive knowledge of the test routes for the areas we operate and will soon get you competent and confident with them. Some of the local areas we operate in can be very complex with many different junctions multi lanes, roundabouts, tight bends, narrow streets etc. Lots of different situations and that is something which is embraced by my training to get you feeling confident everywhere before your test! We also offer motorway training and PASS PLUS to help you with reduced insurance costs and to get you feeling fully confident to drive anywhere you like after your test. I know how you may be feeling! _ Lots of different emotions, excited, maybe quite nervous, worried about costs, anxious about trying to fit your training into your hectic life, or study schedule. Worried about passing the test, passing the theory, lots of questions and concerns about picking the right instructor - someone you can feel at ease and gel with. Ive worked in the community for many years and rolled out safety schemes at schools, lectured to large classes and taught people one to one so I have ample experience in assisting people over the years and I can help to alleviate all the concerns you may have and make you feel comfortable and confident to help you to enjoy your lessons and look forward to them! I will answer all your questions, hopefully put you at ease and after an initial trial and assessment of your competence we can discuss a positive plan together to get you on your way with the learning process. I have a high pass rate but ultimately if you put work into your training and turn up for lessons and work with me then the results will speak for themselves! So why not begin your journey with LPS!
