I have been fixing things since I was a teenager back in the early '80s! I have worked for BMW, VW, Renault and Mercedes-Benz main dealers, and a couple of private vehicle restorers both here and in the USA. My experience is varied, including Motorsport with saloon cars, formula ford and F3. I started Paul's VW as it seemed there was a need for good honest workmanship on classic vehicles. I enjoy

the variety of what we do, whether it be an air-cooled engine rebuild, a motorhome brake overhaul, repairing a lawnmower or adjusting the gears on a mountain-bike! A few mods to a Raptor. What the customer wants, the customer gets! Spots, grill lights, rear flood, side steps, load bay additional lights and more. All wired to factory switches.

This is why we move your fuel filter to under the fuel tank. This was in the engine bay of a running bus, until I removed the dizzy cap, when this happened! Stay safe please folks.

This is what excessive end-float looks like. Although I expect this engine to last for some time, a rebuild is ok the cards.

Hot weather requires a bigger fan!
