Land Rover Lightweight / Airportable, 24v FFR, 88”, petrol.
Coming with its Heritage Certificate and Military ‘B’ card, (service record.)
Sitting on a Richard’s galvanised chassis, treated and sprayed in the correct military black this vehicle is an excellent example.
Completely rebuilt from the ground up, with an extensive amount of new and refurbished mechanical parts.
Built in 1980 making it tax and MOT exempt it was used for military service until being first registered in 1998 with DVLA. Super low genuine mileage of only 25000, this vehicle drives perfect. Reliable, everything works as it should, even has the rear convoy light fitted.
It also has a pair of original wing mounted military aerials to come with it.
We’ve been looking after this vehicle since 2020, all the work has been completed by us, now selling on behalf of the owner.

4' x 3' x 14", Drop down rear tailgate, facility to tip the bed to help with loading / unloading, good clean condition and ready to use. Everything works as it should, coming with a brand new unopened waterproof cover, two brand new road wheels and tyres, cargo net. 7 Pin electrics, but an adaptor for a 13 pin car socket can be supplied with the trailer.
245kg capacity, Trailer will stand on its end for reduced storing space.
This little trailer is ideal for light personal uses such as camping, transportation of goods / gardening equipment and household waste. Tows really well, brand new tyres.

Zinc plated panels and floor (light galvanize)
Drop down rear tailgate
Tip bed facility
Full track galvanized axle beam axle
Protected rear lights allowing the trailer to be stored vertically
Roping buttons allowing covers to be fitted
TUV approved making it suitable for use in Europe

Land Rover Series 3 1970

‘Selling on behalf of a private owner’

📍Tax and MOT exempt. ULEZ Exempt.
Same owner since 2012. V5c is correct to the vehicle and in my name.

🛠️It has only ever used as a big toy and never used off-road. Everything works as it should - petrol engine runs really well. It has been fitted with a Webber carburettor and K&N filter alongside an electronic ignition which starts every time - never letting me down!

🔧The gearbox has an overdrive fitted and everything works perfectly with no nasty noises or issues. The overdrive runs really quietly when engaged and allows the engine to relax back. We fitted new front and rear springs including shocks, ubolts, shackles, bushes and bolts. The vehicle also has vacuum assisted front brakes.

🔨Since its restoration, the vehicle has always been well maintained and the chassis and bulkhead are both good. The bodywork on the whole is good with some small dings and dents with some paint fade. The wheel rims have some rust beginning to show but the tyres are good with plenty of tread (750x16). 4 seats and a centre storage box included.

📌Remember, this is a 54 year old vehicle. It's not a Defender and doesn't drive like one. But it is reliable and will bring a smile to your face every time you use it.

📌This is a reluctant sale and only due to requiring more space at home. There is no reason that this vehicle would not make a long distance journey successfully.

📲 Payment by bank transfer preferable. However, cash in full before the vehicle leaves us is also accepted.
