Fiesta St Line Crash Repair

Here at Auto Unit we love the black and red colour scheme so this week we’ll be looking at two of our recent projects in our company colours

For our first example we have this which had been involved in a nasty front end collision. This called for a complete bonnet/bumper replacement and repaint as well as some repair work on the rear and drivers door. Our painter then brought the black alloys back from zero to hero, which came out looking incredible.

Next it was time to call in the mechanics to get it back to running strength and back on the road!

Rover 110 Two Tone Respray

After seeing our work on the Humber Supersnipe the owner of this brought his car to us for a two tone respray

As you can see from the pictures we started with the darker tone green on the lower half followed by a fresh coat of the original colour seen on the top half.

Jaguar XK repair

This Jaguar came in for a repair and repaint on the driver’s and passenger’s side doors + rear quarters which were riddled with dents and scratches.

As well as this we also repaired it’s soft top lid

This car was recently involved in an accident where someone managed to side swipe this customers car. On first inspection the car looked deceptively okay but once stripped it was clear it was in dire straights.

However this customer wasn’t going to give up on his car anytime soon and we brought it back from the literal brink. This was a major task and involved removing the engine to repair the chassis legs followed by panel repair and repaint across the entire body.

As you can see it came out better then new by the end

Citreon 2CV Customisation

This customer, with a beautifully modified Citreon , brought her car in for a simple front window repair and bonnet polish.

However once we had polished the bonnet we knew that to do this car justice it could really do with a new coat of paint. After chatting to the customer, who agreed, we repainted the bonnet and headlights to compliment the patterning seen on the roof

After spending a year waiting for repair following the discovery of severe corrosion a customer brought his BMW to us.

We started off with a rewelding of the rear wheel arch followed by a repair and repaint all over the rest of the body.

As you can see from the pictures it came out looking absolutely stunning!

Humber Supersnipe Rescue

Don Potter came to us with a recently repainted Humber Supersnipe that featured peeling, faded paint work with missed repairs.

To rescue this we fully resprayed the car in two tone blue and silver, including all the shuts and the backs of the doors which were missed by the previous body shop.

As Don said in his review “Just picked up my Humber Supersnipe and could not be happier...I was treated so well and was kept informed throughout”
