🚗 A little bit of nostalgia has just arrived at Evans Halshaw Ford Preston… 🏁

Now this is a used car with a bit of a story! 😍

We’ve just bought in this 40 year old Ford Es**rt Mk4 XR3i Convertible — a proper blast from the past and a car that will bring back some serious memories for anyone who grew up in the 80s and 90s and what a beaut she is!!

With its iconic XR3i styling, sporty character and classic Ford heritage, this is a very different kind of showroom arrival to the cars we normally have on display! ❤️

And let’s be honest… who remembers when an XR3i was the car to have? 😎

It’s already getting plenty of attention around the showroom, and we thought it deserved its own little moment on our socials 😎

The team here at Evans Halshaw Preston are ditching the uniforms today and getting the kettle on, all in aid of the incredible MacMillan Cancel Support ✨
Our showroom was fully stocked with some delicious home baked ( and nicely faked) cakes!!! Our staff have donated to dress down for this amazing cause.

🎉 What an incredible milestone! 🎉

Today, we had the absolute pleasure of handing over the 1,000,000th Ford Puma Gen-E to its proud new owner, Mrs Horton! 🚗⚡

As if that wasn't special enough, Mrs Horton also won an all-expenses-paid trip to Romania to witness her very own car being built at the factory – a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience! 🇷🇴🏭

It's been an absolute privilege to be part of such a memorable moment. We're incredibly proud to have played a role in this milestone and to share in the excitement with you and the entire Ford family.

Congratulations once again, and thank you for letting us be part of your journey. Here's to many happy miles ahead! 🎊💙

💛 Now this is what you call a head-turner! 💛

We recently had the pleasure of handing over this absolutely stunning bright yellow Ford Mustang to one of our valued customers, and it's safe to say it won't be blending into the crowd any time soon!

With its striking colour, iconic styling and unmistakable presence, this Mustang is built to make a statement wherever it goes. It's the perfect combination of bold design, exhilarating performance and timeless muscle car appeal – guaranteed to turn heads at every set of traffic lights.

It's always exciting to see something a little different leave our showroom, and this rare colour makes an already incredible car even more special. We hope its new owner enjoys every mile behind the wheel and all the attention it's sure to attract along the way!

Congratulations and thank you for choosing Evans Halshaw Ford Bedford. We wish you many happy miles in your fantastic new Mustang! 🎉

What do you think of this eye-catching yellow? Is it your dream colour, or would you choose something different? Let us know in the comments! 👇

🎉 Celebrating 15 Years of Loyal Service – Congratulations Kevin! 👏

Today we are proud to celebrate an incredible milestone as Kevin marks 15 years of dedicated service with Evans Halshaw Ford Preston.
Ryan had the pleasure of presenting Kevin with his long service award in recognition of his commitment and contribution to the business along with some well-earned vouchers and additional holiday entitlement going forward.
Kevin joined us in his early 20s and has grown alongside the business, building a wealth of knowledge and expertise in commercial vehicles. Over the years, he has become a vital cog in our Commercial Workshop, working closely with the team of commercial vehicle technicians to help keep as many Ford Transit customers and local businesses on the road as possible.
Congratulations, Kevin, on reaching this fantastic milestone. Thank you for everything you've done over the past 15 years—we wish you continued success, and here's to the next 15 years! 🎉🚐💙

My First Car: Then & Now 🚗

For generations of drivers, the Ford Fiesta wasn't just a car - it was freedom, independence, and the start of countless memories.

Back in 1976, the very first Ford Fiesta arrived and quickly became a favourite thanks to its simple design, affordability, and impressive fuel economy. Compact, reliable, and easy to drive, it was the perfect first car for new drivers and young families alike. It proved that a small car could be practical, fun, and full of character.

Fast forward to the final generation, and the Fiesta had transformed into a stylish, technology-packed hatchback. With its sleek looks, advanced driver-assistance features, touchscreen infotainment with smartphone connectivity, award-winning EcoBoost engines, and refined driving experience, it continued to be one of Britain's best loved cars.

From its humble beginnings in 1976 to its final chapter, the Ford Fiesta evolved with every generation while never losing what made it special - a fun, dependable car that created memories for millions of drivers. 💙
