Do you think you have plenty of time remaining on your MOT?

Just because you have a valid MOT, your vehicle can still be unroadworthy and dangerous to drive!

Driving an unroadworthy vehicle is illegal, so its important to regularly check your:

🛞 Tyre tread and condition: the minimum legal tread depth is 1.6mm, check for cuts, bulges, or exposed wires and replace the tyre if you find any
💡 Lights: to make sure they're all working
🌧️ Wipers: test your wipers regularly to make sure they clear water from your windscreen
🛑 Brakes: if the pedal feels spongey or slack, get your vehicle checked by mechanic as soon as possible

It is your responsibility to make sure your vehicle is safe to drive before starting the engine.

Please can we ask that when dropping off your vehicle, you use the two spaces infront of our reception door and the space before it. Please do not park in the bays marked for Northwest Autocare. You can also use the 5 spaces at the end of the block next to K9 Club. But please do not park infront of any other businesses on site.

We open at 9am and our diary if full. It is 9:04 and before we have touched a car, no MOT's even looked at and customers dropping off have already added 3 hours worth of work with "whilst you have got it"

We are starting to get people grumbling that when their car fails the MOT and needs a further 3 hours work that we can't have it sorted and back for the school run.

We always do our best for you and always will. But if you know your car needs something, telling us when you drop it off is too late.
