🏁🇺🇸 USA TRIP COMPLETE – HEADING HOME WITH A WIN! 🏆😎

What a trip it’s been! 👌

After an incredible time out in Lake Havasu for the IJSBA World Finals & Jet Ski World Series Round 2, we’re finally heading home!

To come away with another World Title makes all the hard work, long days and preparation worthwhile! 🏆🏁

But it’s not just the racing that’s made this trip a success!

We’ve made some fantastic new contacts, caught up with plenty of people in the industry and have some exciting things in the pipeline for JELLPerformance thanks to this trip! 👀🔥

There’s plenty going on behind the scenes, and we’re looking forward to sharing more with you over the coming weeks!

IJSBA WORLD FINALS & JET SKI WORLD SERIES RD2 – LAKE HAVASU, USA 🇺🇸

What a day!! 😎🔥

After a week of testing, tweaking, adjusting and putting in the hours, it was finally time to see if all that hard work would pay off!

An early start getting down to the race site, setting up and making sure everything was ready to go while Simon headed off to the riders’ meeting.

To have played a part in helping Simon secure another world title is something we’re incredibly proud of here at JELLPerformance!

This is what it’s all about. The long days, late nights, endless hours in the workshop, testing, making adjustments and chasing those little improvements that make all the difference when it matters most.

Hard work, dedication and teamwork paying off where it counts!! 💪🏁

With this result, Simon now sits JOINT 1ST IN THE JET SKI WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP, tied on points heading into the final round!

After a busy week here in Lake Havasu, the testing, tweaking and preparation is complete! 👌😎

✅ Testing & seat time – DONE
✅ Set-up & final adjustments – DONE
✅ Race preparation – DONE
✅ Packed & loaded – DONE

We’ve put the hours in both on and off the water, working through different set-ups and conditions to get Simon Belcher #111 and the boat in the best possible position.

Plenty of hard work, early starts and late finishes, but that’s all part of racing at this level! 💪

Now it’s time to put all that preparation to the test

🔥 TOMORROW IS RACE DAY! 🔥

The spanners have done their bit, now it’s over to Simon to get out there and do what he does best! 🏁

Fingers crossed everything comes together when it matters! 🤞

🏁🇺🇸 LAKE HAVASU – DAY 5 & 6 DONE! 😎💪

Another two productive days here in Lake Havasu as we continue preparations for the ijsba World Finals & Round 2 of the Jet Ski World Series

🔧 DAY 5 – FINDING THE COMFORT ZONE

More testing in both flat and rough water, giving Simon the opportunity to get a proper feel for the boat in different conditions.

At this stage, it’s about letting Simon decide what he’s comfortable with, finding a setup that suits his riding style and building confidence in the boat.

🔧 DAY 6 – FINAL ADJUSTMENTS

Another day making those final tweaks and adjustments, along with more valuable seat time for Simon Belcher #111.

We’ve put the hours in, tried different setups and worked through the changes.

We’re hoping we’re now in a good place with both Simon and the boat heading in the right direction! 👌

There’s always something you could change or improve, but knowing when to stop adjusting is just as important!

🔧 DAY 7 – WORKSHOP DAY!

Tomorrow will be spent in the workshop, going through the race boat, carrying out final checks and making sure everything is prepped and ready for Friday!

The hard work and testing are nearly done. Now it’s about making sure both Simon and the boat are as ready as they can be when the racing starts! 🏁💪

🇺🇸 DAY 3 & 4 – LAKE HAVASU 😎🌊

Another couple of solid days in the books as we keep building towards race day with Simon Belcher #111. 🏁

DAY 3 ✅

Good few hours down at Body Beach again in the morning, with Simon jumping between his race boat and getting some good laps in on his FastPowersport F16 to work on his stamina.

Plenty of useful seat time in both flat and choppy conditions, getting more comfortable and putting the hours in. 👊

Then it was back to the house to regroup our thoughts, get everything sorted and ready for the morning.

A lazy late afternoon once everything was done gave us chance to chill and hopefully start adjusting to the jet lag…

Those 4am wake-ups are wiping us out 😂🇺🇸

DAY 4 ✅

We managed to get some good flat-water runs in early, before the conditions started to chop up.

Once it did, it was onto some proper laps around the buoys — another good opportunity for Simon to get more seat time and work in changing conditions. 🌊💪

Then back to the house to prep the boat, grab some lunch and get everything together before heading over to the race site.

Next job — safety tech ✅ at the race site

Another important box ticked and another day closer to racing. 🏁

The work is getting done, the boat is getting dialled in and Simon is getting plenty of time on the water.

On to the next one… 🇺🇸😎

⚙️ YAMAHA 1.8 SUPERCHARGER CLUTCH – SPRAG BEARING ⚙️

Following our announcement that sprag bearing replacement is now available at JELLPerformance, here’s a closer look at what it does and how it could help restore your Yamaha supercharger clutch 👇

🔧 WHAT IS THE SPRAG BEARING?

The sprag bearing is a critical component inside the Yamaha supercharger clutch assembly.

It allows the supercharger to operate correctly while controlling drive through the clutch mechanism.

When the bearing begins to wear or fail, the clutch may no longer function as it should. Traditionally, this could mean replacing the complete clutch assembly.

⚠️ COMMON SIGNS OF A PROBLEM

Depending on the level of wear or failure, symptoms may include:

• Loss of boost or performance
• Supercharger not driving correctly
• Slipping or inconsistent operation
• Abnormal clutch operation
• Complete supercharger clutch failure

🔍 WHY REPLACE THE SPRAG BEARING?

In many cases, the rest of the clutch assembly may still be perfectly serviceable.

Rather than automatically replacing the complete unit, we can now inspect the clutch and, where suitable, replace the sprag bearing itself.

This means the original assembly may be repaired and returned to service instead of being unnecessarily replaced.

🧪 TRIED & TESTED

We haven’t rushed this service to market.

We’ve carried out testing and gathered real-world feedback before deciding we were happy to offer it to our customers.

We use high-quality bearings — not cheap Chinese copies.
