Another productive day 💪🏻💪🏻
Customer complained of prolonged starting in the mornings (1st start of the day) another garage fitted 4 new injectors to try to rectify 😱.
We did a compression test to find down on compression on all 4 cylinders, removed cylinder head to find all 8 exhaust valves burnt out.
Will be a new Ford cylinder head and rebuild van has only covered 20,000 miles.

We are very excited to welcome a new member of staff starting tomorrow 🤗. He’s been at a commercial Mercedes dealership for 20 years so very well experienced and upto date with all the diagnostic and fault finding side of the job 🤩.

On another note Matt has had his neck brace removed and will be back to work as normal as of tomorrow as well.

So after 3 weeks of being off due to my injury, I’m starting back at work this week commencing helping the guys out making brews 🤣 and getting involved with the diagnostic side of things, mainly for my sanity I’m so board at home.

The team needs an experienced Mechanic / technician to join our small but very busy family-run garage in Much hoole, Preston, Lancashire.
The Ideal candidate should be able to carry out servicing and repairs to a wide verity of cars and light commercials and all manner of repairs, including clutch, timing belts and diagnosing faults, 3 years practical experience preferred, computer literate, good communication skills.
Qualifications such as City and Guilds, NVQ are preferred.
So much potential to learn and courses provided, to constantly further our careers.

Apprentice wanted
A school leaver who wants to learn the trade and progress in a career with lots of potential.
Must be keen and wants to progress in the trade
Must turn up on time

Just an update of where I am for people who are asking, I’m overwhelmed with the well wishes thank you so much!
I’m back home 💪🏻, I do have a fractured c2 vertebrae which is part of my spine in my neck, I. Also damaged a artery that runs inside my spine so along process of healing and medication.
I Can not thank the guys at Dyfi Bike Park and the Welsh health service enough as I’d most likely be in a very different worse position now if it wasn’t for the way they handled my injury.
I’m going to be out of work for a few weeks now which is going to drive me mad but worse of all my summer race session is over before it started 😩😩🤦🏻‍♂️.
Thanks for the love guys 🚲🚲🤙🏻🤙🏻

Due to Matt Curley having an accident this weekend riding his bike please can everyone be mindful that although the garage will still be open for business we are a man down.

All bookings will be accommodated as normal but if you don’t need to book in unless an emergency please call and book in a weeks time.
