Had a phone conversation with a gentleman looking for a series one Rs.

He actually contacted me about my 3dr he'd seen on here, and then mentioned my series one

He said he'd seen it advertised and automatically wasn't interested as it cant be a good one at 25k.

This left me baffled.

FORD ES**RT GTI - Β£2995

Possibly one of the cheapest Es**rt GTIs in the country! A fairly straight, solid example that presents well from a distance and offers a great opportunity for someone looking for a bit of old-school Ford fun.

105k miles

Long MOT until August 2027

Fully HPI clear

I've driven the car for 10 miles this morning and there are a few bits worth mentioning..

Driver's door handle needs attention (interior)

Wheel bearing needs changing β€” brand new bearing included

Gear linkage needs adjustment (slight crunch into 2nd gear since having a new ratchet on the clutch)

Needs roof lining

Could do with new wiper blades

Airbag light flashes

Stereo doesn't work

Could do with tracking doing

Paintwork isn't perfect, but remains presentable

Grab yourself an honest, usable Es**rt GTI with a few jobs to sort, and priced accordingly
