The legendary Vauxhall Cavalier GSI 16v 🖤

A very rare car nowadays and becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially with the Saab B204 turbo conversion already carried out. The engine starts well and sounds very healthy.

This would make an excellent project for an enthusiast or collector wanting to restore and finish a proper retro performance Vauxhall.

1986 Fiat Uno Turbo ie

Super rare 80s hot hatch – the legendary Uno Turbo. These were a rare car 15 years ago and are now becoming almost impossible to find.

MOT expired in 2014 and the car has been off the road since, stored in dry storage. Currently a non-runner, although the engine sounds healthy when turned over. Fuel is leaking from the rubber fuel lines in the engine bay on top of the engine, which appears to be a relatively straightforward repair but I'm not a mechanic.

The interior has been stripped out – no carpeting – and fitted with two bucket seats, harnesses, and a roll cage. Dashboard is still fitted and complete.

The shell is very solid and appears to need no welding. Fully HPI clear on all accounts and has never been recorded as accident damaged. There are a couple of colour changes noted on the history over the years, but no accident history.

The body kit is a period Hoffman kit from back in the day. Some people say Fiat never did an Abarth Uno Turbo, although there is information online suggesting Abarth versions did exist in certain markets, so make of that what you will.

In 2021 the previous keeper was chasing bigger power and fitted a larger turbo setup, with a receipt on file for around £500. Unfortunately the turbo uses a different fl**ge, so the exhaust downpipe was never completed. As it stands, the full exhaust system is present apart from the downpipe/manifold section required to connect the turbo.

I don’t believe the car will need a huge amount for MOT recommissioning, but as with any vehicle that has been off the road for years, it will want a proper going over. I would recommend a timing belt change, full service, fluid change, and replacement of the rubber fuel lines under the bonnet before attempting to run it properly.

Bodywork is good for 39 years old. It is not perfect and there are age-related imperfections to the body kit and paint up close, but nothing drastic.

A lovely, very rare car and a great project for someone. Not many of these left now, they were famously quick cars back in the day.

Some spares come with the car with a huge History folder.

As its 39 years old now, it's very close to becoming tax and mot exempt.

Here is a rare iconic 90's fast Ford which is still mot'd on the road & what a Great looking car.

Starts runs and drives very good, real head turner!

Not in bad condition for the age

The Interior is a nice place to be, clean & tidy with very comfortable 'old school' recaro seats, tape/cassette stereo, sunroof, pop out rear windows etc

Fully hpi clear on all accounts, history folder with plenty old invoices, full v5 logbook, floor number present, matching vin & v5. Mot til sept 2026.

There is a mileage discrepancy online, its a bit all over the place, as with all old fords when they hit 100k they go back to zero & in April 2009 according to the mot history it did 43,032 miles in 3 days?

Mileage on the clocks is 66k if i remember rightly, but they arnt the original clocks

New discs and pads, & new cv boot fitted.

mot'd on the road, very clean & looks great with a recent respray in diamond white!

Although it starts runs and drives very good, it wants setting up properly, a new rocker cover gasket and a good service. heaters only blow cold air, possibly the heater matrix, the car does not over heat and the fan kicks in as it should, stong engine & boosts well through the gears, great fun to drive.

Check out this stunning Es**rt Rs, just arrived at Retro trade sales NW! Rare, early Mk5 pre face-lift with the iconic twin bonnet bulges.

Such a good looking shape, finished in original, Ford Radiant red with the original Rs wheels.

Mileage on the clocks shows just 46k, there is a mileage discrepancy of -1k, from back in 2009.

Hpi - cat D from way back in 1997 when it was stolen and recovered with lock damage.

Mot passed January this year with no advisorys

4 new matching tyres, new brakes, good service history

Sunroof model with recaro interior in relatively good condition for the age, no holes in the parcel shelf, after market kewood stereo, original airbox, magnex exhaust system fitted.

There is a small oil leak coming from the gearbox, possibly the seal. The gears still work as they should and there is a spare 5 speed gearbox which comes with the car

These early mk5 are a rare car now, plenty mk5a +b but they just arnt the same since they changed the rear lights and lost the bonnet bulges.

The bodywork is pretty good for the age, needing the smallest amount of welding in the boot, size of a 50p coin, and usual place - battery tray. Some bubbling on the osr arch.

Underneath is solid and has been undersealed

Good reliable engine, starts first time and sounds lovely, runs and drives well for 33 years old, but for some reason the rev counter and speedo dont work

Comes with a good amount of history, old mots & tax discs etc

2000 Vauxhall Corsa 1.6 Sport

Here is a rare low mileage Corsa B Sport, showing a genuine 52,500 miles from new. This is a very honest and original example that has never been welded, making it an increasingly hard find in today’s market.

The car presents well with a straight body and retains its original character throughout. It’s clear this vehicle has been well cared for over the years, and it starts, runs, and drives really well.

The power steering pump whines, although the power steering itself works as it should. The wheels and tyres currently fitted need balancing, they're old and were only put on as replacements after the Speedlines were removed, I would recommend changing them—ideally sourcing a set of original wheels to bring the car back to its best.

HPI clear on all accounts, Low owners, low mileage

A rare opportunity to own an unmolested Sport.

Other than a small amount of rust around the fuel cap, the bodywork is very clean, not a single stone chip on the front end, The engine bay is also clean and tidy, as you can imagine with such low mileage.

Slight blow from the exhaust due to catching it on a speed bump today after taking it for a run, its been sat at the back of the unit collecting dust as you can see in the photos, taken today.

Mot passed in February, again with zero advisorys, 5th time in a row.

Not many around like this one.

This ph1 Renault 19 16v has just driven from Wolverhampton to preston after recently passing its first mot in 18 years & passed with no advisorys

The previous owner has carried out lots of work over the last year, giving it everything it needed to return to the road

The mileage is decent at just 97k

Huge History folder comes with the car, mountains of paperwork, fully hpi clear on all accounts.

Only 5 previous keepers from new

Relatively tidy bodywork for the age, starts runs and drives well. These are a rare sight on the road these days, the phase 1 is such a good looking shape with pop out rear windows, sunroof etc

The Renault 19 16v are great cars for handling, fast and fun to drive.

1990 Volkswagen Corrado 1.8 Turbo 20v

Well what do we have a here! An old school Vw Corrado running a 20v Turbo engine 🚀

Really good looking car, this Corrado was taken in a deal against a lovely 328i coupe e36.

I've driven the car locally and it drives pretty well, it drove to preston from stoke so mechanically good. There is a small nock from the from coilover suspension, a full used replacement set of coilovers come with the car.

Fast and fun to drive, paintwork looks OK but could with a good buff, relatively clean engine bay, mk1 Audi TT 5 stud alloy wheels etc

Something about this Corrado, it stands out from the rest, real headtuner!

Not a great deal of paperwork comes with the car but full v5 logbook present which state's on the v5 it was damaged repaired.

Mot til December

This is one that can be used daily and enjoyed

1986 Ford Es**rt Series 1 Rs Turbo 🤍

Good condition for the age, it turned 40 years old 2nd January, still on the road turning heads.

Starts runs and drives really well, not the fastest car on the road compared to modern day stuff but nothing comes close to that old school turbo driving feel, absolute pleasure to drive.

Took it for the mot last week, passed with no advisorys.

It's not concourse but it's very presentable and solid in all the usual places, chassis number in the floor, matching vin tag and v5, all original glass with number plate etchings

Custom shell (sunroof and pop out rear windows) clean recaro interior, cassette stereo fully working, good dash, good roof lining, relatively clean engine bay

Mileage on the clocks is 119k which is nothing for the age of it, it's had 27 owners which seems a lot but quite common with cars from this era, you can clearly see it's been well looked after over the years.

Mechanically sound, new radiator fitted last week ready and capable of driving anywhere you take it

Be sad to see this one go, it's been a pleasure to own. If you're in the market for one of these iconic hothatch's from the 80's, this one is definitely worth a look. Photos taken today..
