Start em young they say!!

The youngest of the family has helped out around the place for a while, but the older she gets, the more roles she asks for. Today she’s received her new uniform to prevent damaging her own clothes or school clothes!

Despite her repeated requests, we are not ready to let her quit school to work with us full time 🤣

How do you get 450+ BHP from a direct-fit turbo on your Audi S3?
Well… here’s a little insight.

From left to right, we have:
• The standard rotor assembly
• Our proven 420BHP upgrade
• And finally, our new 450+ BHP hybrid upgrade

Through extensive development countless calculations, CAD design work, and real-world testing we’ve engineered the largest possible wheel combination that can safely physically fit within both the compressor and turbine housings.
Compressor Side

We’ve retained our tried-and-tested anti-surge blade design, now refined even further.

The compressor features:
• A significantly reduced nose diameter (smaller than the 420BHP unit)
• A larger overall wheel size for increased airflow
• A CNC-machined bullet nose nut, replacing the stock shaft nut to optimise airflow into the inlet

The result? Maximum air intake efficiency with minimal restriction.

Turbine Side

The turbine wheel follows the same high-performance philosophy:
• Hi-flow, lightweight design carried over from the 420BHP unit
• Substantially larger inducer and exducer

This increase delivers:
• Improved exhaust gas flow
• Reduced back pressure
• Lower turbine temperatures
• Greater overall efficiency at higher power levels

Spool & Driveability

Despite the increase in size, we’ve kept rotational mass to a minimum, which is critical for fast spool and strong low-RPM response.

This is achieved through:
• A 9-blade turbine wheel
• A compact compressor hub and nose
• Thin blade profiles across both wheels

Strength & Reliability

To handle the added performance, we’ve integrated our proven race thrust system, which is:
• Over 20% larger than the OEM bearing
• Designed to withstand extreme thrust loads under high boost conditions

This ensures durability is never compromised even under the harshest use.
