🇺🇸 Every Now and Then Something a Little Different Comes Along... 🚛

One of the things I enjoy most about this job is that no two days are ever the same.

This American pick-up project was certainly a welcome change from the usual daily workload.
I've never really been involved in the hot rod or custom build scene, so it was fascinating to see the amount of craftsmanship that had gone into this build.
With the bonnet removed and the rear stripped back ready for the next stage of the project, it gave me a great opportunity to appreciate the quality of the engineering and fabrication that had already been carried out. It's incredible how much work goes on behind the scenes to transform a vehicle like this.

Whether it's a finished classic, a restoration project or a vehicle that's halfway through its build, we're more than happy to transport it safely to wherever it needs to be.

🐾 Meet My Faithful Co-Driver... Chester! 🚛

I thought I'd take a break from the usual vehicle transport posts and introduce you to a very important member of the WS Logistics team... Chester!

When the day's work and circumstances allow, Chester joins me out on the road and certainly enjoys being part of the adventure. Whether he's keeping an eye on things from the cab or patiently waiting while I'm loading or unloading, he's always happy to be involved.

When he's not travelling with me, you'll usually find him relaxing at home... although he's always happy to pose proudly wearing his very own WS Logistics bandana!

Many of my regular customers will recognise Chester, and one of the questions I'm often asked is, "Has Chester come with you today?" He certainly seems to have built up his own little fan club over the years!

I can't be the only one with a four-legged workmate... if your dog enjoys tagging along to work or keeping you company, I'd love to see them in the comments. 🐾

⚡ It's Not Just Sales Dealer Transfers We Carry Out... 🚛

While many of our dealer transfers involve moving brand-new vehicles between sales departments, that's only part of what we do.

This Škoda was recently transported between dealership service departments.
As more electric vehicles arrive on our roads, not every workshop has the facilities or qualified High Voltage Technicians to diagnose and repair them. As a result, we're increasingly being trusted to transport these vehicles to dealerships that have the specialist equipment and expertise required.

As a qualified High Voltage Technician myself, I understand just how complex these vehicles can be. Before any repair work is carried out, strict safety procedures must be followed, including safely isolating and powering down the high-voltage system.

It's another example of how the motor industry is evolving, and we're proud to support dealerships by providing safe, reliable and professional vehicle transport whenever specialist expertise is needed.

💛 A Familiar Face Returns... 🚛

It's always a welcome change when a classic vehicle appears on the transport schedule, and this beautiful yellow Chevrolet Impala was no exception.

Those of you who regularly follow my social media may remember seeing this very car when I originally collected it for one of my valued customers. Well, the time had come for him to move on to his next challenge, and I was delighted to be asked once again to transport it, this time to its new owner.

It's always rewarding when customers return, trusting WS Logistics with the same vehicle on its next journey. It was a real pleasure loading this stunning Impala once again and ensuring it arrived safely at its new home.

While retail customer deliveries are a big part of what we do, we've also been busy carrying out dealer transfers for our valued trade customers across the UK.
