I would like to take this time to wish all our valued customers and suppliers a very happy Christmas and an efficacious new year in 2026.

We are very fortunate to have such loyal people who put their trust in us. This year has been extremely busy, operating at full capacity booked in advance every month. So thank you for your patience at times.

Please do not stick to ford's 20k intervals.. 8-10k max and 60k for a wetbelt change is advisable.

Car came in barely running no fault codes.

On inspection we found that it had spun cam lobes and dropped inlet valves. Timing was perfect and belt was completely intact. On Further diagnosis we had found that the egr valve had failed (valve separated from stem) this in turn ended up putting excessive pressure up through the inlet at high rpm causing this failure.

Head off new valves, head gasket and head bolts, camshaft kit, timing belt kit and and egr valve.

Head was scratched a few times with this one 🫣

Head sent off pressure tested and skimmed. Rebuilt with new head set, timing chain kit, water pump and glow plugs, with oils and filters
Pleasurable when huge jobs like this start first turn of the key and post repair test drive concludes a successful operation.🤙
