You may remember Luke Hope, the fantastic Apollo Motor Group , who won the Special Recognition Award at the Knight of Knights in November.
For those who don't, Luke was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, (ALL) in October 2018, the day before his 18th birthday. Following six months of intensive chemotherapy, Luke was in remission for nine months.
Unfortunately in February 2020 he relapsed, culminating in the loss of sight in his right eye and he now requires a life saving bone marrow stem cell transplant.
Luke urgently needs to find a life saving donor as the stem cell transplant is his only hope. DKMS UK are one of the organisations that run a collaborative register for stem cell donors. They have recently started a campaign for Luke, looking for a donor for him, and others, as well as raising much needed funds for the charity.

Bradley Eyles, Apollo Motor Group, Director, contacted ABP Club to help spread the word and appeal for industry colleagues to help.
"We are kindly asking all our direct and indirect connections to help Luke in his fight by joining the donor list or making a donation," said Bradley. "I have shared on our company LinkedIn and page; if anyone reading this could please ask your colleagues to kindly share - thank you."
In November, guests gave a proper bodyshop industry standing ovation for the recipient of the 2019 ABP Club Special Recognition Award, 19-year-old Apollo Academy Apprentice, Luke Hope, as he collected the Award, presented by Dane Loosley, ABP Club non-executive director (also pictured).
