Making all the right noises! 🔥

This C43 AMG received our Stage 2 performance package, combining custom ECU and TCU calibration with the required supporting hardware.

With the hardware in place, we developed the calibration to deliver stronger performance, improved gearbox response and smooth, progressive power delivery.

The result is a C43 that sounds as good as it performs, with the engine and gearbox working together exactly as intended.

2023 BMW 330e | Custom Dyno Tuning | The Importance of Datalogging

This 330e is a perfect example of why proper datalogging and understanding the data is just as important as the calibration itself.

During our initial dyno runs, we identified some concerning issues:

❌ Poor ignition timing
❌ 7 superknock events recorded during initial testing
❌ Ignition behaviour requiring further investigation and calibration

This is what separates us from the competition

✅New NGK plugs fitted after being gapped correctly and the crap Champion plugs were removed and binned

✅BMW Online records updated 👌

It’s not just about reading the data it’s about understanding what it’s telling you and knowing how to respond.

With extensive experience developing software for the BMW B48 platform, particularly the 330e, we know how important it is to get these calibrations right.

📉 Stock: 296bhp / 453Nm
🚀 Mapro Custom Tuned: 414bhp / 743Nm

That’s a massive +118bhp and +290Nm.

Huge gains, but the real work is in developing the calibration, managing ignition timing and torque delivery, and addressing the issues identified during testing.

Peak numbers mean nothing if you don’t understand what’s happening inside the engine.

2019 Mercedes-AMG SL63 | Custom ECU Tuning + VMAX Removal

A serious result from this SL63 AMG. After baseline testing and datalogging, we developed the calibration through multiple revisions to deliver strong, controlled power across the rev range.

📉 Stock: 585bhp / 900Nm
📊 Actual: 572bhp / 986Nm
🚀 Mapro Custom Tuned: 649bhp / 1193Nm

That's +77bhp and +207Nm over the measured baseline.

We also carried out VMAX removal, removing the factory top-speed limiter as requested.

Nearly 1200Nm with smooth, progressive delivery huge performance from an already seriously capable AMG.

**2018 Audi RS5 | Stage 1 ECU & TCU Custom Tuning**

This RS5 came in for a full Stage 1 engine and gearbox calibration, with the focus on strong performance while retaining smooth daily drivability.

📉 Stock: 450bhp / 600Nm
🚀 Mapro Stage 1 ECU & TCU:530bhp / 790Nm

That's a huge +80bhp and +190Nm.

Datalogs were superb throughout the session. After 5–6 software revisions, we had the power delivery exactly where we wanted it strong, progressive and perfectly suited to a car that's still driven every day.

Peak figures are only part of the job. Getting the delivery right across the entire rev range is what makes the difference on the road.

🔥 2007 BMW 535d Stage 3 Custom Tuning 🔥

This 535d came to us running Falcon hybrid turbos with supporting modifications, ready for a fully custom Stage 3 ECU tune and Stage 2 gearbox software with custom settings.

🔹 Stock: 272bhp / 560Nm
🔹 Previous tune: 366bhp / 690Nm
🔹 Mapro Stage 3: 409bhp / 804Nm

It arrived with a really nice tune already, but there was still plenty of headroom available.

With no fuelling upgrades fitted, we always knew the fuel system would reach its limit before the hybrid turbos ran out of boost. Even so, we achieved an incredible 409bhp and 804Nm with strong, controlled power delivery.

Matched with our Stage 2 gearbox software and custom settings, this 535d has been completely transformed. 💪

Another 330e through the workshop for our same-day in house ECU unlock followed by full custom Stage 1 tuning.

This one took 7 calibration revisions to really dial everything in, but the end result was well worth the time huge performance with smooth, controlled power delivery.

Having our own 330e development car means this is a platform we know extremely well. We’ve spent the time testing, logging and developing these cars rather than relying on a generic file and fake graphs

421bhp / 740Nm epic gains from a Stage 1 330e.
