Happy 6th birthday to my gorgeous grandson, Eli 🎂💙
Love you gazillions, little man. Here's my poem for you:
Yellow Socks and Cool Blue Crocs:
Who'd have thought our darling boy
Could be so bright, so crisp,
A pure delight
He charms us all in every way
As he goes about his busy day
A thousand smiles, and a million miles
Each and every single day
He entertains, brings hearts alive
No room for gloominess to survive
He's the Apple of his mothers eye
His dads, his nans, his teachers, too
He dreams of being Spider Man, or Hulk
Or Batman, Marvel, too
No matter their colour, although he does like blue
He's different to the other boys
While playing with his treasured toys
His hair flows long in pure blond curls
Beauty in his marvellous swirls
He twists and turns, he runs and jumps
Through fields and streets and houses, too
He tracks up floors and tears through doors
His speed is mighty, too fast for you
And when his day is finally done
He'll look at you and know he's won
He's had the best of the best in every way
He's champion when it comes to play
So he'll know it's time to head upstairs
No time for this boy to say his prayers
He'll take a glance upon the clock
Before finally removing.........those
