Steady consistant days racing at Nutts Corner Circuit for Ollie, lead two heats and the final but got pipped on last lap 🤦‍♂️ Great battles had today with the boys, all very fast 💪

🏁💙🧡Northern Ireland Champion 2026🧡💙🏁

After a hard fought long year we have topped the NI points table to become NI Champion 2026 👌💪🏆

We might not have got many first places but lots of podium finishes and consistency throughout the year to win it by 35 points,leading the table for the majority of the year 💪

2nd place finish last year Ollie wanted to go one better he said and he done just that, Proud of my boy 💙

Well done to Jack in 2nd and Jaxon in 3rd. 🏆

🏁🟠🔵Tullyroan Oval Golden helmet 🏁🟠🔵

H1- (not in-Split heats)
H2- 5th
H3-13th (fastest lap)
Final- 8th

Big field of 39 karts for the Golden helmet, started at the back of grid for heats, Ollie had a good clean run in H2 just ran out of laps to challenge for podium postion, H3 he went out wide to pass a back marker on the corner, slid in the wet nearly loosing the kart, lost several places but came back to finish the race getting the fastest Lap 🔥. Final started 10th on grid, up into 5th, 2 karts tangled in front of him and he got caught up in it with no were to go resulting in 2 sterring arms bent and dropping to around 18th but came back to finish 8th 💪

Overall a good night's racing in tricky condition, but the goal was to finish all 3 races and get steady points as championships normally never go our way 🤦‍♂️

Next up Nutts Corner Circuit at weekend for next round if Ulster Karting Club 🏁

Ollies first time racing Bishopscourts, started of a wet damp morning but turned dry in the afternoon, we struggled a bit in the wet conditions couldn't find any thing to work well 🤦‍♂️ Final back to dry set up and he was on it having a great battle out front pushing to his max and got the fastest lap too 💪

Very happy with today as we wernt expecting much having not raced here before but Ollie really enjoyed it, Well done Dawson Jones Racing NI for 1st place and Cooper for 3rd 🏁

Great nights racing for Ollie from the back of the grid all night, no silverware for the night but showed great determination and read the traffic well and snaked in and out through it finishing all races 👌

Got pushed out wide and lost a few places in heat 2 but dug in deep to come back for a good night's points scoring to keep in the lead for the NI points championship with one round to go 💪

To top the night off he set his personal best lap record of 17.583 seconds 1 tenth of the lap record for Tullyroan and the fastest lap record in a while 👌💪🧡💙 we will beat it before we finish Daniel 🤪

Roll on the next meeting to we dig in deep to try and finish the NI points Championship in first place after a second place finish last year 💪🏁
